I know I've done a Pokemon thread before, but it is now my hope to take all the scattered threads around this board with Pokemon music and host it in one complete area. I invite latios.of.altomare and thomasdaly to contribute their threads into this one.

I will also be uploading

As in the previous thread I created, I will also use this to host my own personal collection of Pokemon music. I will be slowly uploading it here, bit by bit, complete with as much info as I can muster on the CDs or games the music is from: composers, arrangers, vocalists, lyricists, even the characters and voice actors featured on the few Pokemon drama CDs there are, just for you completionists out there. ^^

Now, select your team and pack your Bag! Let's start this Pokemon journey right!

Do you think you could upload Pokemon Snap music? Some of the download links on GH are broken.

Also, some rather specific requests...about Pokemon G/S/C. Do you think you could find/record these?

1. Full evolution theme, including the jingle before the tune.
2. A longer Ruins of Alph (Inside) tune. The one I have is just around 10 seconds and that's way short. 30 or 45 seconds would be fine.
3. The Legendary Pokemon battle theme from Crystal.

Copied from the other topic, heh.

Good, now if only the songs had English rather then romanized titles.

How about a proper rip of Crystal & Yellow versions?

I'm gonna have ta work on Crystal; it may take a bit, as my Winamp's not very good with GBS separation. If I provide the GBS, whomever manages to get it separated and labeled gets special credit.

On the other hand, I'll try tagging in english them myself.

Ladies and gentlemen, I have to make an announcement.

Due to an unforeseen possible failure of my C:\ drive (AGAIN...the second f***ing internal I've gone through in the last year, damn piece of...), there is a possibliity I may be out of action for a little while.

In the event that a failure DOES happen, I would like you all to start submitting links to this thread post-haste, so I can compile them and organize them for posting in this thread from another PC.

Laptops...what can ya do?

Sure. Is it 192kbps or better?
I would love to listen, if it hasn't already been uploaded. ^^

No, it's only 128. If someone has it in higher quality, I'll post a track list.

What does Mishiyoukyoku mean? Seeing as noone seems to be attempting to translate the romanized names I'm doing it on my own. But I can't seem to find the meaning of this word ANYWHERE on the net and it's in a few of the song names.. Any help?

Edit: Also Track 17's name: Waza Oshie-nin Anyone have a clue what this means?

The Platinum Disc (disc 3) is missing the theme I wanted the most: Giratina battle. Besides, some tracks like Handsome's encounter music or the Torn/Distortion World BGM are not included.

And by the way, the track 17 of the same disc, Waza Oshie-nin (I guess it means something like "Move Tutor") is actually the music for the Spin Trade option in the Union Room of PtHGSS; the Nintendo DS Pokmon HeartGold & SoulSilver Music Super Complete even lists it as such (Disc 2, track 63: ぐるぐるこうかん).

I'm looking for this certain music played in Pokemon Coliseum. Its the music played when you're "registering" Pokemon for battle or selecting which ones to battle with. Its also the Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald title music. Can someone upload this tune?

The music you're after is Sentou! Giratina. Its in the order it would have been if there's an official soundtrack. Check disc 1.

This is cool, but something about this is bothering me, mainly the R/S/E rips. It seems that they've been recorded on much lower volume than the rest of the packs so far, while the official super complete version's volume is on par with the rest. Does anybody find that strange, or is it just me?

It's not strange, it's just the GBA compared to the DS.
