I wonder if we're going to get a score release for this. It's done by George S. Clinton.

I'm more than sure that there is 90% more of the action and escape tracks in that game. I'm not talking about loops but original tracks. The game supposed to be bigger in terms of the size of the world than the first one, which was big already. So this release barely scratches the surface. I hope so.

If you look at the title of the tracks, you can tell that there's more. The titles are so generic and simple, there's nothing game-spoiling about them at all. If there was, say, a boss theme song, then I'd believe that it was the complete soundtrack. The fact that this didn't include any of that kind of music definitely leads me to believe there's more, and that's great. I'd still be happy if this was all the music though, it's an unbelievable soundtrack. My favourite in a long, long time.

This. The soundtrack itself is a several steps above the original but Access the Animus is still easily the best song.

I was disappointed with the first. The promo tracks when they were released seperately, City of Jerusalem and Horse Ride blew my mind. The real thing, bleh. Really boooooooring.

This one feels really well made though, the music really feels like it's had a lot of work put in.

Seriously, I don't know how you got these inthe first place 2 weeks before they were released but THANK YOU!!!!!!! I listened to the Amazon previews as well as the 5 "promo" tracks and I was blown away. Jesper Kyd's my favourite composer of all time and continuously comes up with new and unique music, can never get tired or bored of his style. I'd already ordered the Black Edition of AC2 which comes with the soundtrack, but I'm downloading this cause I simply CAN'T WAIT to hear the whole thing XD So thanks again!

Question: Is the score for the first game this good? Because wow... I'm suitably impressed...

I'd say it is yeah, although they both have a unique sound to them, as do most Kyd's scores like the Hitman series in which all 4 have a distinct personality and feel. AC1 has the much praised Access the Animus track in it so check it out.

Definately one of the best game soundtracks of the past few years. Some of the quality starts to fall as it comes to disk 2, I much prefer the tracks on disk 1, but it's still a great soundtrack.

I agree with Thalin ; prefer the first CD too !

I think this is one of Kyd's finest works to date. I especially love the anachronistic take on what is essentially a period piece in sci-fi trappings. Electric guitars in the late 15th century Italy fit the story perfectly.

And the rhytmic beat in the opening track "Heart" is something I've been longing to hear from Kyd since Hitman: Codename 47.

The correct titles, except for one track.... if I remember correctly, are already written in the ID3Tags. Use something like MP3Tag to rename 'em quickly.
