Stefanie Sun, also known simply as Yanzi, is a Singaporean singer-songwriter who made her debut in June 2000. Japanese music fans may recognise her for the two duets she has done in English with Kuraki Mai.

Stefanie Sun debuted under Warner Music Taiwan with an amazingly sucessful self-titled album "Yan Zi". It sold over 330 000 copies alone in Taiwan. This was followed in December of the same year by My Desired Happiness. Which also sold over 380 000 copies in Taiwan alone. Both albums achieved commercial success by having each sold over 1 000 000 copies in China.

Stefanie Sun Yanzi - to me Simply Sun Yanzi is my favorite Chinese Pop singer and I own 5 of these albums, My Desired Happiness, Start, Leave, Kite, To be Continued. Strangely enough I found a few of her songs on kazza a long time ago and liked them so much I had to order one of her albums and I liked that one so much I ordered the other 4 I could grab at that time. Thankfully recently I was able to grab high quality MP3s of her other albums to hold me off until I can afford to import the rest of them. If you haven't listened to any Chinese pop before you should check her out because she has a really nice voice and some great melodies. I didn't post the tracklists because the song names are all in Chinese and I am not very good with the language. Most of the tags are otherwise in english so you will notice Artist - Sun Yanzi, album names in English, and genre C-Pop. If you get a chance please support the artist if you like the music.
