Just because Neo gave the specific example of Aeris rumors, doesn't mean that he wants threads about other rumors about various rainbow colored WEAPONS and the like.

Opening a new thread after one is closed by a mod for a legitimate reason is NOT a good way to go about gaining the respect of fellow posters.

I didn't mean rainbow coloured weapons and timber chocobos that can fly. Yes I have read about them and that stuff it just plain stupid.
I mean ones like - you don't have to save Priscilla in Junon and it can change some stuff in the game; and you can watch the Loveless play in Gold Saucer.

Alright first things first… I got 9 out of 10 stars on hard next fear my 5th time through your 5th time you get gold… and each time I got a different ending im not sure if that did it or not but im pretty positive… Well I started another game and when I got to the school I noticed something new! It let me take the glucose and distilled water… Well I started trying to use it everywhere until I got to the hospital… where I used them to blow open the door across from the hospital doors to the hospital parking lot… where I found oil… WOW…!?!?
… Anyways… I got confused and went on with my game until I got to the gas station… where I took my gas and if you noticed like I did when you go through next fears a couple times you can use the saw and rockdrill both without adding the gas can?? Anyways I tried the oil on that engine in the station cool! Now I can take the engine… back to the hospital where I put the engine into an ambulance and used the gas!!! At this point im in awe like what next… Well as you might have figured you use the ambulance to break through the barrier with its new V-8 Muwahahahaha! … and had a little fun running over things (sirens flaring) and decided to take a look at the map to see what I could maybe do next… after a couple of tries leaving town and such I noticed the other parking lot… you know the one in gray on the map with the skid marks going in… BAM! Busted in that bitch! … Searched around found the boat key… Went on as usual again.. Ah ha! I can take the drugs in the safe now… Got to the boat and fired it up… took it around to the boat dock… You know where the red thingy was by Indian Runner.. Got out and I seen a bunch of plants and such… I took the blossoms off the plant.. White Claudia! If you didn't guess.. White Frickin' Claudia! Ok, went on as usual until 3rd floor of nowhere where it let me read the botanical books… Talked about the White Claudia and shit! Said something about a ceremony… and remember when you where at the alter in the antique shop? You search on it and it says "I wonder what they worship" or something… anyways I mixed the drugs and Claudia in that alter right outside the door where the book was made a shitload of Aplaphogis or whatever its called!? Used it on Alessa and.. I wont ruin the surprise!

THere's a difference between liking the game (and I DO like the game) and worshipping it as if it were the best RPG ever created without any arguement to back such a statement up.

In all seriousness, debating Aeris revival in anyway is retarded. She is dead, and it's actually part of the story progressment, her not dying might actaully make things worse for example, and meteor ultimatatly destroy their world.

Apart from that, I'd also like to see as few rumour threads as possible. If any of the rumours created back then were true, we would have known by now. I sincirely doubt that we are going to learn something new about a game that was released over 12 years ago.

In that case, I'd encourage to do some kind of faniction, or write some theories about the game and how you percieve it. Rumours is becoming a big no-no for earlier stated reasons.

Yes this is a FFVII forum, I do encourage debate about the game. But nothing pointless and flame inspiring like rumours.

Having that said, you may use this thread to continue debate about this game, but please drop any rumour. As said earlier, if they were true, we would have known by now.

These are the stuff you can do with gameshark:

Get Aeris back
Have Young Cloud in your party
Have Sephiroth in your party (never done this before so I don't know if it works or not)

True, this is a forum, a FINAL FANTASY forum. This is just the Final Fantasy VII sub section of the forum. Nothing wrong with wanting to discuss things to do with a game. Yet, as I said above (And as others have stated), asking for info on rumors or how to go about enacting said rumors, is a waste of time. The rumors for FFVII have been debunked as false, so stop asking about them. Stop creating the similar thread.

I really don't know whether to say the rumor of reviving Aeris is true (because you CAN get her back after she dies) or not. It depends on how you see about the whole "reviving" part. I mean, she's not really revived or comes back from the dead exactly, you know? Sure there are some parts in the game after her death where she has some dialogue (me and Agent discussed this before about possible reasons of why she did).

But yes, talking about rumors or theories about a game that's over a decade old is a little on the ridiculous side. And you know what they say, "rumors are just that; rumors".

Ok, Claire remember that place the one before/after (I forget) where Aries was laid? Supposedly there was a cave that was suppose to be there, but I am guessing that it couldn't fit on the disks, I mean you can see the entrance but you can't get in. If I find images of the place I'll post them.

Maybe they couldn't figure out what it would have to do with the story or something because like I said earlier, she has dialogue in some scenes after her death. Maybe they originally didn't plan on killing her (like I don't think Tifa was even supposed to exist) and the cave had some kind of importance.

No, Tifa was originally suppose to die and not Aeris... Or something like that.

SE had multiple teams working on FFVII, and it was a case of 'Left hand doesn't know what the Right hand is doing'. In short, there was miscommunication between the development teams.

True, there is dialogue in the game for Aeris, after her death, but as her death was needed in the game for the endgame plot etc as well as time restraints (iirc, FFVII was running late in it's development), 'Aeris's revival' wasn't put into the final game.

Yeahh I always wondered about the places behind the entrance to the Forgotten City.

But what I thought was interesting was the fact that Cloud was standing in the water where he let Aeris go, yet she miraculously seemed to sink extremely deep into the lake.
But there was other stuff surrounding Aeris and the after dialogue, like her standing in front of the Highwind on her promotional picture. Everyone else's was plausible, yet they didn't get the Highwind until after she died. Hmm.

And I couldn't imagine playing the game without Tifa. :O

You do know on the first demo of the game, Aeris was in the initial party. Story wise she isn't suppose to be in your party at that moment or something like that.

You also had Ifrit and some level 2 magic.

It actually came bundled with the US version of Tobal No 1, that interesting although now sadly dated fighting game which was Square's first PSX title. It was never included with the PAL release though.

And although Aeris was indeed part of the party in the demo, this is quite normal in demo versions - the original demo for FFVIII after all featured Rinoa in lieu of Selphie during the Dollet mission (as well as everyone was dressed in their 'street clothes' rather than their Garden uniforms.), plus the recent demo for FFXIII apparently is not going to be representative of the final game, due to recent changes that Square Enix has announced.

But I digress...

Kinda reminds me of that one rumor where you can get Griever and Odin's wife (can't remember her name :() in FFVIII. Because I was a little shit and the game was quite new when I heard these, I was really disappointed when it wasn't true.
