I love OSTs as much as the next guy but sometimes they can prove disappointing. Like the Final Fantasy IV Original Sound Version, many of the tracks in Secret of Mana/Seiken Densetsu 2 Original Sound Version do not loop, which is a real shame. Back in 2005 I downloaded a high quality rip for Secret of Mana and it has since served as my primary source for SoM music. The site I obtained it from is lost in cyber space, but I still have the rip.

Secret of Mana Extended Score is more or less the same as the official OST except with longer tracks, some item sound effects, and some echoing tracks. Also, it's in high quality. I've broken it up into 3 discs so the music wouldn't exceed the 80 minute limit of an actual CD.

Seems this is just an MP3 encoding of the SPCs. Go to SNESmusic.org ~ your place for all snes music needs (http://www.snesmusic.org) for the info if you don't know what an SPC is (you can get this whole soundtrack, in lossless quality, all in only 183kb!). It only takes a minute to get all set up to use them if you use Winamp or foobar.

You could use Jdownloader, I don't have any difficulty to download link from Mega with this tool.

I'm very grateful for this! I always was bothered by how short all SoM OST tracks were, not good for one of my most beloved games..
I guess I could've made it myself, but this saves me some time. Thanks again!

(Now if someone programmed SoM on SNES so the BGM doesn't get interrupted every time there are too many sound effects aside from the BGM..I'd be a lucky guy:p)

I have been listening to this since I got it from you a little over two years ago. The only thing that I think could improve this rip is if it had a #0 track (or shifted all tracks on the first disk) so that it included the Whale sound intro before Angel's Fear. [I don't want to sound like a complainer, just a minor thing that would improve what is near perfection!]. I'll see if I can find my copy of the soundtrack to rip it later and post here.
