Has anyone seen this movie? I heard it was pretty intense.

It is not playing it in my City (yet) although 20 Cities were added this week after a good showing @ its limited premier.

Well, the trailer sells it pretty well imo. I would definitely see it and I demanded it, but it seems only 14 other people in my town are doing the same.

It was good, but Saw VI was infinitely better.

(for those who don't know they were box office rivals)

Haven't seen the new Saw movie (because all but the first one was dreadful imo) but Paranormal Activity was the reason why I only got 4 hours of sleep that night.

That's what I kept thinking about while trying to sleep! But seriously, this was one scary fucking movie and that's saying something for me because I don't get scared/freaked out easily. Only other movie that has done this is The Grudge.

Definitely. Love The Grudge. Thinking about picking PA up. A movie that always gets me freaked out is the original Exorcist.

I think I've seen Grudge so many times that it doesn't affect me anymore, but I love a movie that actually scares me. It usually has to do with a ghost/demon, something unseen because you can't kill it nor do you know when it'll strike or when it's watching you.

Exactly. The supernatural stuff is what gets me. Like an evil spirit/demon kinda thing. I think playing Silent Hill at a young age is what got me...not that I'm complaining though :D!

Probably because all the movies after the first one were horrible.

Either that or the huge amount of gore.

Definitely a good scene. Saw it for a 2nd time w a friend and she was terrified throughout the whole movie. Sitting next to her (closely) her entire body was super tense.

I can't say this movie terrified me, but there are a few movies that still freak me out.

I didn't think the movie was scary at all. It was much too predictable and the acting when they weren't scared shitless was hokey. I won't say it was terrible, but really isn't a horror movie that I will revisit.

It was alright, i felt the filming was a bit to wobbly. good thriller though

While the early parts of the film are a bit boring. But I can not help thinking it was boring to voluntarily reduce their expectations to increase the shock value. Brilliant film, in fact, the end is that still haunts me a few days and is probably the most terrifying scene of a horror movie I have ever seen.
