Are the game rips fundamentally different from the OSTs?

If you have the original soundtracks and the unreleased takes, then no, not really. The only difference are the tunes used for Chronicles which are the opening, net play, and chaos tower. So three tracks in the entire rips, and both rips are identical ... far as I can tell. Correct me if I'm wrong on all that though.

But I do thank you for Unreleased Takes. Something to replace the PS1 rips with.

I think the ones on GH are probably the same ones from this topic. Is the quality bad on the ones on GH? I haven't checked them out myself. I've already ripped all the tracks from Vampire: Darkstalkers Collection on PS2 (like a year ago! lol) but I want to tag everything first and don't really know where to start. There's a TON of tracks buried in there, so it just feels like it'll be really time consuming.

Is not that is bad, per se. It's 128 kbps in most cases, and... well, it's just that if there's a chance someone has a 192 kbps or V0, I'd like to ask. There was a guy who made "Ultimate Soundtrack" like for MVC3 and SSFIV. I think a compendium of Darkstalkers/Vampire Hunter music would be nice. Oh well. One can dream.
