I'm only on the first track -- Beyond the Wasteland is one of my favorite tracks from the original Advent Children soundtrack. It sound a little thinner here, but I like the added material. Still, it's odd that it's about five seconds shorter than the original.

Incidntally, what's the background on this album? Did Uematsu have anything to do with the expanded pieces, or was he absent?

I really need to pick up Advent Children Complete. Still haven't seen it yet.

Not sure how I feel about the Advent Children Complete version of Battle in the Forgotten City. That's my favorite track from the original. This new version sounds sort of hallow, and the orchestral elements sound a lot less organic.

This is a takeharu ishimoto cover of the original advent children songs that uematsu created, hence why all of them just lack something.......Their is one though, Daybreak, that was a good job. But Ishimoto has a real problem developing his own "sound", just something isn't right with most of them and Tifa's theme and anxious heart REALLY should've been longer. It's really a rip off when it comes to those two.

Yeah... Reunion Tracks features the new arrangements for the COMPLETE version of Advent Children... Personally, I prefer this new version of Battle in the Forgotten City over the old one.

Honestly, i like the quality of the old one better but the extended parts are amazing too, so that's why i want that. So i believe what I'll do is fuse them both together the best i can and if i turns out good i might upload it to MU or something if i think anyone will be interested.

I'd definitely be interested, because I really like the new bits, but the sequencing of Uematsu's bits is just too dry and empty sounding.

Wow I recently just watched ACC and it is indeed much better then Advent Children. I mean to a sense it's the same but damn the soundtrack is better! And thanks for upping the tracks dude. And thanks X Player. Really good. Honestly I was hoping for at least a full 5 minutes of Tifa's theme in the movie, but damn the 59 seconds is not enough lol. Anyways thanks you guys!
