Any good jazzy style or pianvideo game music out there? I second this. I absolutely loved this style of music in the Sims but I haven't been able to find anything else of the sort.

Yup, I'm quite familiar with that soundtrack, it has been on my wish list for some time now. It seems to be out of print and sold out and no one that I know has the soundtrack, therefore, no lossless rip. :( Oh well, such is life, eh? :p

* Hm... the first songs that come to my mind are songs related to Rouge, from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and even a song from Sonic Battle ("Club Rouge").
* There was also a song in Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 that had a jazzy feeling but I can't remember the name right now :S.
* From DJMAX (for PSP), the songs: Dream Of You, Yellowberry, Bye Bye Love, Sunny Side -Deep n' Soul Mix-.
* Most songs in Marvel vs Capcom 2.
* Jubilife City (night time) from Pokemon Diamond/Pearl.
* The song: "Jazzy-NYC [latin mix] (underground edit) ~New York Alley Stage~" from the "Street Fighter 3 New Generation Original Arrange Album".
* The "Trophy Gallery" theme from Super Smash Bros. Brawl
* Various songs from the "Megaman X Arrangee Album"
* Most songs in Hotel Dusk.

Those are all the songs I can think of :S for now at least.

Also, the Cowboy Bebop albums (while not exclusively jazz music), have some wonderfully jazzy pieces on them :)

I'm not sure how to open those files as my foobar2000 doesn't seem to read them but I was able to check out one of the songs at IMEEM, and yes, this is exactly what I'm looking for in terms of jazzy style piano. :D If you are able to share this album then that would be great! I'm also putting this high on my wish list for albums to purchase while it's still available. :) Thanks!

Hotel Dusk is a great suggestion! Nice and mellow tunes to go with the mood of the game. Also, the Melty Blood series has some good jazzy tunes.

If you just want brilliant piano/keyboard based jazz (with some excursions in to trio and fusion) by someone Japanese, check out Hiromi Uehara on Youtube. I ended up buying two DVDs of her music and most of her CDs.

Still adding to it. It focuses on pre 2000 tracks & mostly CD-ROM era tracks, but i'll delve into chiptune stuff a little as well.

Personally, the Mombasa Streets tracks from Halo 3: ODST capture the game's film-noir atmosphere perfectly.

King Of Fighters 95 OST got some good jazz tracks such The Creeping Soul, Esaka Theme, etc.
