Well, if you guys know it or not... heck I didn't until today, there is a hidden Minigame at the end of FFIX. It's just an endless game of Blackjack as Square's final Gift to the people showing that they can bend tradition around. Perhaps this is the sign that Square is bending around with tradition stuff. We saw this with Final Fantasy X when they said they were going to do a spin off of FFX.
But anyways, do you think this final prize was worth anything? Do you think it could of been replaced with something better or do you think it shouldn't have existed and let the Final Fantasy Theme play forever and ever. o_O
(BTW: To get it. During the "The End' screen after beating the game, press R2, L1, R2, R2, Up, X, Right, Circle, Down, Triangle, L2, R1, R2, L1, Square, Square. After hitting that, a confirm sound will play out and the minigame will appear.)
