Encoded and tagged into MP3 from a TTA + CUE set I found. Shinobi and Yuzo Koshiro fans, enjoy.

This is fucking amazing. I never thought I'd live to see the day.

EDIT: It'd be even more fucking amazing if Sega bothered to include the music from the PS2 Shinobi and Nightshade. Especially considering that the soundtrack for the latter was never officially released.

Yeah, I'm surprised that they didn't use this compilation as an opportunity to officially release the Nightshade soundtrack.

No Shinobi X and/or Shinobi Legions either. ;_; Hell, even the soundtrack from that GBA Revenge of Shinobi would've been cool to have. Dammit,Sega. Cocktease is tease.

Well, to be fair, Shinobi Legions had a pretty lame soundtrack. ^_^

Wait,Legions is the US one, right? I actually like that one a lot. It's not Koshiro, but it's kinda catchy.

Now,Shinobi X is I think the EU version of that game. I heard Richard Jacques himself composed an all-original OST for that one. Should be pretty awesome.

Well, I didn't like Legions in general. It felt like a weird stepping stone from "Shinobi III" to "Shinobi 2K2." The soundtrack itself was okay from a strictly technical standpoint, as in it didn't make my ears bleed like "The Cyber Shinobi" did. However, it just didn't pump me up like any of the genesis or PS2 music.

I've heard the Richard Jacques version on YouTube, and it's certainly better. Maybe the one time in history that Europe lucked out on a game release. :-)

Not the only time. =) Lucky bastards got Alien Soldier. It's easily 100$ on Ebay now.

Does anyone have a working link to this?

I came across it by total accident, found a link to what looks like a lossless version since it's so big, but it has a password and there is no source for the original link with the password! It's always the way right!!
