I just completed the black materia place...(temple of the ancients i think) and now i dont know what to do im stuck im currently at the Fort Condor fo no reason i can't seem to get anywhere in this game it doesint give you clear directions half the time

You're in the wrong place for starters. What you need to do is get back on the Tiny Bronco and head to the southern coast of the Northern Continent (you have to maneuver a bit around a chain of islands though which lie to the north west of Midgar to get there).

Once here, park the plane on the only beach in the area and head into the big, skull shaped thing in the forest near there. This is Bone Village, your next destination. Speak to the old man in the chair in the village to find out what you have to do next so you should be okay.

but thx ill try that out. also i dont know if its my disk but right above a small mining village theres a black thing behind in like a big black saucer and everythime i go in it i freeze up i dont know if im just not supposed to go in there anymore or what lol but ok ill try going north

never mind that right now im trying to defeat jenova death kinda difficult when he can use red light 3-4 times in a row

kk now im kinda stuck on Weapon2 he killed my 2 non main chars in 1 hit i dont have any of my good chars since tifa is with cloud and those 2 were the others that i only really used now my only good char on my team is vincent

Weapon2? You mean Ultima Weapon in Mideel? In that fight, all you have to do is survive a certain length of time, so use spells like Enemy Skills like Big Guard (if you have it), and Regen to withstand it's attacks.

Also use summon spells like Bahamut and Neo Bahamut, and Limit Breaks to deal a fair amount of damage to it. Incidentally, if you have someone equipped with the Steal materia, you can try and steal a Cursed Ring from the beast.

After it's taken a bit of damage (or a certain length of time has passed - I'm not sure which takes priority), it will fly away and the battle will end.

Or, go and fight outside Mideel for a while. You should level up nicely if your characters are poor against those green and silver efforts, whatever they are called. They always seem to come in threes and fours. Watch out for the big bird confusing you though.

well my chars are basicly 1 time hard hitters i dont have any enemy skills or any type or barrier i have quite a few summons but not all of them my cloud was about lvl 44 i think and so is my vincent and hes my only good fighting char my others are around lvl 35-37 so i think ill just go train for a few hours :P

For your first playthrough I would also definitely recommend using magic materia as well, if you're not already doing so, like Restore, Heal and Barrier, as they will be a great help in the long run.

Restore is a no brainer - you should have gotten your first one back at the Number 1 Reactor at the start of the game, and it can be a great help, especially when you don't have any potions left.

Although the healing power of it does become reduced by the end of the game (Cure 3 only heals a maximum of around 3000HP), it is still very useful if only for the spell Regen, which you gain when the materia reaches level 3. It's especially handy for long boss fights, as it reduces the amount of healing you need to do, meaning less turns needed to keep yourself alive.

Heal is more secondary, but it is helpful for removing negative statuses. As for Barrier however, it gives you initially Barrier, and after a few levels, MBarrier, which cut down the damage you take considerably (the enemy skill Big guard that I mentioned in my earlier post, does the same thing).

Try using all three materia (the materia shop in Mideel should sell at least one or two of those types) and see if it helps against Weapon.

well im way past that now just died trying to beat the carry armor... it took cloud... and kill my vincent with its gay lazor attack so im gonna try beat it again i tried to use all my best summons off the start i was probly close to beating it but im gonna try again tommoro

Take Enkidoh's advise. Infact, take mine too - start again. I suspect you are going to struggle getting through the norther crator at the end of the game as you are.

lol well im used to final fantasy 10 which is no where as good of a game as final fantasy 7 but im soo used to ffX being so easy i forgot how "hard" ff7 is compared. and i don't want to start a new game since its taken me over 34 hours to get this far that and there are alot of parts in disk 1 i hate doing so im gonna try my best to beat it with this poor file

well im kinda stuck but im just gonna train alittle and since i didint get yuffie and that other chick i cant just skip the battle with the turks so is there any stratagy i should use other than non-elemental attacks/summons

well i guess i wont need any advise on the turks since i did the side quest with yufie... that pissed off... but i have clouds ultima wepon yufies ultimate wepon and clouds apocolypse sword with slash x2 and slash all soo im pretty sure im doin pretty good at this point

wellim stuck trying to get to sephiroth tryin to get to middle is really hard when the monsters that attack can do like 3k dmg in 1 hit and poison you at the same time
