Same. I wanted Tron 3 hardcore.. but Disney canceled it. Please, not another 20 years..

I think their mistake was thinking that a lot of people remembered the first film.

They should have done a 3 minute "previously" with old Flynn narrating.
It really could have used the exposition and not a "reboot" of the story.
It pretty much takes place right after the first movie without having to show the first movie.
Flynn's speech on those TV's. The news. It's easy to get that past fresh audiences since it gives some context.
But it really plays out like a drama movie about some guy who went mad with his evil corperation.

My favourite movie, we'll see what Jared Leto have in store for the future of the franchise. But my hopes are really low.

I'm still mad all these years later about TRON Uprising being canceled with no resolution.

I love the soundtrack for this. Daft Punk really did justice to the retro feeling that TRON Legacy was going for

Rewatched it a few days ago.
The visual and the audio shine, but its killed by the acting of the main character.

The best of the movie is actually the teaser for TRON 3, that was hype.
