My first contribution to this site after many years of visiting. The wonderfully strange sound track to equally strange Japanese gore film. Its a mix of all the styles listed above which is the best way I can describe it. Its not my personal rip as I don't own it on CD due to the DVD being an expensive import.

I wonder if any one has any info about Kou's score for 'The Machine Girl'?

This movie worth watching then? I saw the trailer and it looked pretty crazy, as in it didnt make any sense, just wondered ive seen machine girl I thought that was ok.

Anyway OST sounds interesting enough thanks.

I liked it! I mean, it's not like it's high art or anything, and it runs on something closer approaching Comic Book Science than anything that's physically possible.

Ruka's a pretty sympathetic character, and a total badass. There is an actual plot that's pretty easy to follow once the movie gets going. Some of the duplicate casting makes things a little confusing (guy plays a character, and that character's father, but because it takes a while to reveal things, I thought they were the same character; the woman who plays Ruka's mother also plays one of the engineers, etc), but it makes more sense as it goes on.

And hell. BLOOD EVERYWHERE. At one point a guy is bleeding so profusely the propulsion provided by his blood gushing out allows him to fly

Heck, the movie's totally worth it just for the in-film commercials for the Tokyo Police Corporation, and the Japanese Sword of Kohka.

RoboGeisha looks much crazier.

There is a soundtrack released for the OneChanbara (Chanbara Beauty) film. The credits theme can also be found on Youtube, it might also be worth a look as its kind of in the same vein as the soundtracks in this thread.

Now I got to say ONECHANBARA was one hell of a cool movie, it starts of slow but just kept getting better, certainly one of my fav zombie movies now, need to get it on DVD, I heard their making part2 as well.

Everyone should also check out the TGP director's latest film 'Vampire Girl vs Frankenstein Girl. Its in very much the same vein (no pun intended) as Tokyo Gore but it looks even gorier... if thats possible. RoboGeisha does indeed look completely off the wall insane as well! I Can't wait to see both plus the announced Tokyo Gore sequel.

I found a picture of what looks like the official relase of the TGP soundtrack which I suspect is what you get with the Gore edition DVD.

This rip is probably the one I originally uploaded to Demoniod a while back ago as I do own the CD which came with the movie. Although someone must have converted it to mp3 as I uploaded it as FLAC.
