In FF7, the number 7 is used on the game a lot of times. Here's the task. You say something that is in the game that is associated with the number 7.

eg. There are 7 real main characters in the game. Cloud, Tifa, Barrat, Aeries, Red XIII, Cait sith, Cid.

Vincent and Yuffie don't count as they are secret charecters that you have to find and unlock.

yeah that's the type of thing we're looking for.

But i should clear up as well, it has to be the number 7. 7, 77, 777, 7777, but not something like 27. Just thought i should say that as i forgot to say so on the first post.

There are 8 but 1 is destroyed to make 7.

I found a new one when I was playing today.

On Cid's rocket, it's Tank number 7 that was malfuntioning.

In the Battle Arena you can get Lucky 7 "penalty." When Cloud starts out the game, his level is 6, although after the first battle, it goes to 7. (I think.) I could try and come up with more, but if I have to strain my brain to come up with something, then it's probably reaching. If I notice anymore, I'll post them.

I thought it was tank eight that did that.

Lesse, there are 7 parts in Gold Saucer aren't there? Battle Arena, Chocobos, Event, Speed, Wonder, Ghost Hotel, Station and that ride in the little house around GS.

The name of the game, Final Fantasy 7.
Sector 7, the place where Tifa owned her bar.
7th Heaven, the name of Tifa's bar.
The number of years Tifa said how long it was ago in the "Cloud's Promise" flashback.
The number of days Tifa was asleep after Meteor was cast.
The number of years Tifa said how long it has been since she saw Cloud in the Lifestream flashback.
The number of days Tifa spent in a coma when she fell off the bridge in the Lifestream flashback.
The number of days Meteor will collide with the planet after you defeat Hojo.
If your HP ever drops to 7777 in battle, that character will go Beserk and attack enemies for 7777 HP damage each turn for the rest of the battle. Your HP drops to 1 at the end of the battle.
The number of normal characters. Count 'em: Cloud, Aeris, Barret, Tifa, Red XIII, Cait Sith, and Cid (Yuffie and Vincent don't count since they are considered "secret" characters).
Sephiroth (angel form) has seven wings total (six in bottom section, plus one arm-like wing).
Seven of the playable characters have seven different limit breaks.
Cait Sith has seven different possiblities for his Slots limit break.
Aeris's birthday is February 7th.
Seven of the characters have known blood types (Seph, Cait Sith and Red XIII are listed as "unknown").
The name of a (not so big) handicap in the Battle Arena of the Golden Saucer: Lucky 7.
Tank Number 7, The last oxygen tank Shera completed checking in Cid's flashback.

There were 7 releases (well... not full releases) of Final Fantasy 7.

The FF7 Sampler for the Japanese PSX
The FF7 Sampler for the American PSX that came out with Tobal No.1
The FF7 Demo (different from Sampler) that was corrected from the sampler.
The FF7 Japanese Version
The FF7 American Version
The FF7 European Version
and finally
Final Fantasy International

I don't know if there is a Japanse Demo or a European demo... so uh... yeah. o_O

There is no Keycard 61... now what does this have to do with 7? Well if you take the sum of Keycard 61 (which doesn't exist) it equals to 7. There is no Keycard 61, just 60, 62, 65, 66, and 68.

There are 7 digits in Ruby Weapon and Emerald Weapon's HP

You need to master 7 different Command Materias to get Master Command (thanks Dingo Jellybean >:B)

You get 7 prizes for finding all 6 Wutai Turtle's Paradise flyers.

Supernova crashes through 7 planets (well.. 6 planets then lands on you on Earth)

o_O

<Font color=red face="comic sans ms">Actually, we can't really be certain on the amount of HP the Weapons have. I've seen as high as 1,000,000 and as low as 500,000; but I think it was agreed at about 800,000 or so. It may not be that, but that's what I choose to believe it at. I think Emerald may hvae slightly more HP than Ruby, but I can't be certain. I'm not certain about the 800,000 myself, so it could quite easily be wrong. However, I don't think the Weapons quite have 1,000,000HP.

Anyway, is this really important? :p

Do you think it changes? depending on the lvl your characters are on???

also someone told me today that if you have Cloud (or any of the other characters) on lvl 98/99 when you go to defeat Spehiroth then he has triple or double the HP..(double on lvl98 or triple on 99)

Agent0042
09-16-2002, 07:30 PM
What you heard about Sephiroth is true. His HP (only final form, I think) will change depending both on Cloud's level and then that of the other characters. Whether or not you used Knights of the Round on Jenova Synthesis also affects it. But I've never heard of that being true for the Weapons.

Emerald has got to have a 7 didgit hp. I got it so that emerald did aire tam on me to make cloud and cid go into lucky 7. 7777 multiplied by 64 multiplied by 2 = 995456. And I hit a few KOTR, so he must have over a million hp.

RUBY WEAPON IS JUST FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE

RUBY WEAPON IS JUST FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE
Ruby Weapon is so not impossible. Here's what you gotta do:

- Kill off two of your characters. (Presumably the two other than Cloud, but really just leave alive whichever one has Phoenix.)

- Have the living character W-Summon Hades and Phoenix.

- Your other two characters should be back to life. Have one of them cast Big Guard. Just have the other cast Regen or something, anything that you think would support the party.

- Have the original living character W-Summon Hades and Knights of the Round.

- Keep miming this combination and Ruby should go down. The Hades will keep him from doing anything to your party, and Knights, obviously, dishes out the big damage.

I used Omni slash-Mime + Final Attack-Revive, and Counter+Mime to get rid of both Emerald and Ruby Weapon.

You can also use Hades once in a while to stop Ruby, allowing you to cure your injured Cloud... and using Mime to cure it endlessly until he reach his Limit again... then start again.

You should use a Hero drink to inflict higher damage to it.

Be ready for a long fight, cause with this way to fight it, it will take about 30 minutes to get rid of that monster.

Also, the damage caused by the Aire tam Attack Emerald uses is based on the amount of Materia equiped to your party, and it has nothing to do with the monsters' HP.

Agent0042
10-20-2002, 08:44 PM
I don't think hotwired was saying that. He was saying that he got Emerald Weapon's Aire Tam Storm to do 2222 damage to get his characters into Lucky 7s. He then hit 7777 X 64, which is close to a million, so Emerald Weapon's HP has to be over a million.

Topic again? Oh yeah, the use of 7 in Final Fantasy VII. I don't know. I think we've come up with just about everything there is.

Agent0042

Actually, I believe it's called "All Seven Fever" or "All 7 Fever." That's what shows up as the attack name at the top of your screen when one of your characters does it.

Could it be that there is a difference between the version?? Like the us version and uk version or just a difference between pc and psx?? Because I am pretty sure that it is All Lucky 7's.

Agent0042
10-22-2002, 02:11 AM
That could be. I have the PC version on my computer right now. I'll just run an editor on one of my savefiles then load it up and see what the message is that comes it. I'll edit this post with my results.

- Edit: I was wrong, it says All Lucky 7s! I guess "All 7 Fever" may just have been something I say online somewhere that people call it."
