So after two listens I can honestly say that I'm not dissapointed at all. I thought that it would be low budget, boring, ambientish score. And yes, it is low budget. It is ambientish at times. And it's far from being boring:). Really AWESOME score. Now I can't wait to see movie!

Thanks, Bio! You're awesome!!!

Yeah, but seems that he's no longer contributing to the forum or not motivated enough to participate and being part with. Maybe he's just taking a break after doing all these uploads and making compilations and covers, or maybe he found a secret place for sharing stuff and he's laughing at us atm lol :p

Excellent! Thanks! Moon and District 9 were the two best Sci-Fis of 2009. Loved the movie. Great performance by Sam Rockwell. David Bowie's son did a good job directing this one. :)

Glad to see this one's floating out there. I got it when it came out, and this is by far my favorite Mansell score... and while it has its quirks that some people just don't like, the score fits the movie SO SO well... (which incidentally, "Moon" is one of my favorite Sci-Fi movies of all time now, even though it is a recent movie and not considered a 'classic') If you like Sci-Fi and haven't seen Moon...do yourself a favor...do so immediately. Duncan Jones (David Bowie's son) did a fantastic job!

Definitely agree with previous posters - if you haven't seen this film, go look for it. I wasn't expecting much from it, being a low-budget "unknown", but was very pleasantly surprised. It's not a big-screen blockbuster, but it has a plot, interesting concepts, good acting and special effects that don't try to take over the film - all of which are sadly lacking in most modern "SF" films. It's very reminiscent of 1960s and 1970s films such as "2001", where films were trying to tell a story, rather than looking for some way to show off the latest special effects toys.

Also, if you've seen and liked "Moon", here's another recommendation - "Hunter Prey" is another film that gets rid of the unnecessary effects and shakeycam, and concentrates on the story. It's different to "Moon" in many ways but, again, it's very reminiscent of original series Star Trek, and films of that era.

Thanks to to original poster(s)!
