Soundtracks for 2 Beast Wars Transformers games. The games are these:

1) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beast_Wars_(video_game) (PC version)
2) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/index.php?curid=6320234 (Playstation version)

For the PC game, like most old CD games, it works as a soundtrack in a CD player, so i simply ripped it using foobar. For the PSX game, I converted the audio related files to wav (I did this a long time ago, I don't even remember the program I used) and then converted the wav files to FLAC using foobar (because I love foobar!). Both can be found in a single folder below. Enjoy!

BTW, there are a few video game threads here already, I didn't know what one to put this in, so I made my own thread. Once this thread gets lost in pages numbering > 10 (which it will), I'll post links to this in the other video game threads. Hope this works for everybody.

Beast Wars is PC
Beast Wars Transmetals is PSX

The N64 music can be downloaded from http://tfcog.net/music.htm (Not in lossless)

one more question why they're all in FLAC? and what is FLAC?

FLAC = Free Lossless Audio Codec. There is no loss in quality from the original tracks on the CD (or game) to your computer. It can be played using many media players, such as foobar (my favorite).

90% of the time, I read something, think "I'll get back to them later", and then forget about it. If there's something in particular you're thinking of and you think I should have responded, just ask me again, I don't mind.

I know this thread is pretty old, but i just wanted to let you guys know that in the Transformers: Beast Wars: Transmetals PSX Soundtrack the file BGM1-3 seems to be corrupted. Just wanted you all to know. Hopefully it can be fixed. Thank you so very much for uploading these amazing soundtracks, you rock!!!

Any possible way to get these in .mp3 format?

If you download a program to convert the files from FLAC to MP3's it should not be too hard. I got one for free from the mac app store (course that only works for macs). They use FLAC's to preserve audio quality.

It's called an audio converter.
