Hello everyone. I'm sure you guys know me from here, providing you with music uploads and everything.
A good friend of mine and me are working on a project, a PC fighting game (Details can be found here! (Thread 67394)).

We are looking for one or more composer(s), who are able to provide our project with fitting tunes. It doesn't matter whether you are only able to make Electronic music or Rock, everyone is welcome to aid our project, as I am aiming to make the music selection a bit diverse so there's something for everyone's taste.

If you want to join our team, be sure to contact me. =)

Hello all,
I'm new to this group so hello to everyone firstly. I am a game/film composer looking for experience/building contacts and my portfolio of works. I have previously worked on many small games and film projects.

Examples of my work can be found at www.myspace.com/composerdanielcampbell

Please message me if you have any projects that may require music and you feel i could assist with having heard my music. Also feel free to add me to your friends.

Hello Daniel!

I hope you have followed the link I have provided in the opening post, in order to gather more information on our project Zero2D, if not, I would ask you to do so.

We welcome everyone who wants to join it of course! I enjoyed your samples very much, so you'd make a great addition to our team.

Just as a few informations on the law-side: All creations you give to us for usage in our project would become Creative Commons. If you don't know about CC, here a little explanation:
This means that you stay with your rights of being creditted for the compositions you give to us, and that noone is allowed to make profit off of them. However, this means that the music is going to be free for share and use to everyone who desires, even outside of Zero2D.

If you agree with these terms, you're good to go and can work with us.

The project will have an "official" release which will have a story campaign. The story features both medieval-fantasy-themed elements and technology and Sci-Fi-stuff, so anything is welcome.
Additionally, we already have a composer among our lines (which of course doesn't mean conflict!), so I would love if you two could get in contact with each other and talk about each of your specialities. This is so both of you can work on things you enjoy, and maybe you can even work together on compositions!

Here you have his profile on the boards (http://forums.ffshrine.org/member.php?u=337864). He has two MySpace accounts, I'm going to share them with you, too:
http://www.myspace.com/samurisceariousmusic
http://www.myspace.com/wingsofaseraph

I will tell him about you, as well.

Now, our "base of operations" are the Smash World Forums ( http://www.smashboards.com/ ), where the main thread about the project is located. If you follow the thread a little (you don't have to actually sign up to the boards), you should be kept updated, too.

We also have a blog:
http://zero2d.blogspot.com/

And an IRC channel:
Server: irc.acidchat.net
Port: 6667
Channel: #Zero2D

I hope you're interested in our project well enough. You can contact me through Private Message on this forum, SWF, or in the IRC.

Very well, I'll send you a Private Message here. You, though, have to enable it so I can send you one, otherwise we're bound to the thread. :P

As for the other 2 people interested - they haven't responded to me yet, so I don't know if their interest is still there. ^^

Edit: Apparently you've got to have a few postings on the forums before you can use the Private Message-function. :X

Well, as said, unfortunately you need a few more posts (I don't know how many exactly) in order to send a PM.

I don't want to display my private mail here in the public, so I'll add you on MSN if that's ok.

I'd love to help, but right now I'm stuck with basic GarageBand. I've made all right / decent tracks for the non versatility GarageBand (Basic) has. I'm deciding on whether or not I should by the fuller version. My e-mail is [email protected] if you'd like me to send you a sample of something I've done?

Hello solidejake.

You can upload a sample track or - preferably - a rar-file with a few of these songs on filehosting sites like www.mediafire.com , and then send me the link via PM. I would prefer this over eMail.

Okay, but one question: How do I put stuff in a RAR?

Okay, but one question: How do I put stuff in a RAR?

You first need to get WinRAR. Then you create a RAR-File. Then you drag and drop your stuff into that RAR.

@Withope: Awesome. I'll check them out in a little.

Edit: Your stuff is actually pretty good. Slower pieces like the majority of the links you gave would only fit well for the story mode, though. The first one is actually pretty kickass, I like it a lot.

I am interested, but I will need more stuff from the game.Pictures of the stages, and setting would help out greatly.

We have no stages yet.

And setting is dark. Techonology and Magic is existant. There's not extremely much more stuff we have developed so far.

If I had the software that I like to compose with on my computer, and a keyboard rather than a piano, I'd definitely like to help.

I hope your game turns out delightfully though~

Thank you! haha, I was in fear you would say that. I acknowledge that during most of the game, the music will likely have to be upbeat, intense, or hectic. If need be, I can provide that. I am currently not at my home computer, but I can provide additional links later. Thanks again for the compliments.

Hi, new here and wishing to compose properly :\

I'd love to help you in anyway, but most of my work is piano, so if you need themes for that then I can try my hand at it. I also agree with your conditions too.

I don't have any complete samples up, but I may try and get around to it in about 5 weeks (I have tests coming up soon). Perhaps if you suggest a little more with what you require, I'll be able to use that as a basis and get something to sample.
