For many years, I'm looking for the background music of the 80's cartoon Dungeons & Dragons.
I don't have notice of his edition or another information about the music, except the names of the composers: Johnny Douglas & Robert J. Walsh.
The music exists in somewhere?

Yeah, is terrible, but the composers or another producers never consider the fans about the soundtrack.

Johnny Douglas also made music for other cartoons. I remember listening some music (action themes) from Dungeons & Dragons cartoon in some old Marvel cartoons (Spiderman and his Amazing Friends and Hulk).

I, too, am a big fan of the music for this show. I've had no luck in finding anything, but I managed to rip the instrumental theme from the YouTube video and convert it to an mp3 file. At least it's a step in the right direction. Enjoy!

It is a shame, but until now, the soundtrack of Dungeons & Dragons Cartoon is inedit....

Does anyone know if will be the soundtrack to Dungeons & Dragons cartoon?, I've heard that not has been able to leave the music because one of the two composers died, and there is a legal controversy for the rights of the music and not yet completed, but unfortunately, those who pay the consequences are fans.

Oh boy ... i have looking for the d&d soundtrack for years too. Here in Brazil the TV SERIES was the best cartoon of all time! Everyone here knows about it! So sad cant find the soundtrack :(

There is no soundtrack to find. One was never released, and I find no hint of samples on-line. I really doubt anyone will.

Never give up hope. Someone out there must have it.

Something did surface in the last couple months. Someone posted a few short snippets on Youtube of incidental music from the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon. It appears like these clips were created using that trick where you can eliminate the dialogue track from a video and leave the music/sound effects track. Some of these clips are very sound effect heavy (you can hear sounds like Presto's spells, Bobby's club, Tiamat roaring, etc.). But other clips are very clear and strong without much sound effects overshadowing them. These clips definitely evoke those memories that may of us have with the show. Enjoy!

It's a shame something like this gets lost. At least with Thundercats we got a leak.

I believe Thundercats was specific to the show? I do not think this music is lost, I think it is and will always be tied up in legal crap. Being used in a number of shows will make it dificult to get the rights to release it....
