hi,
this the soundtrack from game Sentinel Returns in psx 1,
composed by John Carpenter. I got this CD in a magazine a long time ago,
and I really like it. Perhaps more than other stuff composed by John Carpenter,
curiously. So I thought that before my cd becomes completely scratched,
it would be a nice idea to rip it in FLAC format and share it on the net.

EDIT: replaced by what seems a "better" rip, I got from "underground gamer" (paranoia mode according to log file, and much nicer scans).

Excellent stuff!

I only played the demo way back in the day but played it religiously. From what I remember the soundtrack is equally as good. Thanks again for sharing. :)

Can any of you recommend a plug-in or codec or something that lets me play and/or convert FLAC for windows media player or creative mediasource? I have a few tracks that I can't play and this would be another.
Thanks BTW for the upload.

I've never played the game, just got the OST on a magazine.
I realize you can get lot of interesting OST on magazines.

@thejoyrider

which ones?
I meant magazines with lot of reviews / tests for games.
In my case french magazines.
I liked "console +" mag a lot, but the sentinel cd , I got it from "player one" magazine. I currently do not buy anyore such kind of mag, because I don't play enough, and I can find all the reviews I wish on the web for free.

I don't know of a codec exactly, but Winamp plays FLAC files with no problem.

Hi, I played the original Sentinel game in 1986 and this game and it was awesome. You were a robotic creature who couldn't move. All you could do was absorb the energy from trees below you and then build a tower and another body on top of it then transfer over to the new body. The catch was that there was a rival robot who would absorb you if it saw you so you had to be careful where you built and get high enough in order to absorb it first.
