Hi, everyone.

Well, I was looking around for some Guilty Gear OST (mostly because BlazBlue is just around the corner. Yeah, to different games but they both have some sweet music :D)

Anyway, I found GoronMoron's topic with all of these OST's to download. So my question really is which of the Guilty Gear soundtracks is the most "complete"? Like does the "Guilty Gear Sound Complete Box" have all the songs or will I have to download another one, too.

Thanks :)

You'd be looking most likely at downloading:
Guilty Gear Complete Box
Guilty Gear XX Reload Korean Ver.
Guilty Gear Accent Core (Launch Out & Keep The Flag Flying)
Guilty Gear 2 Vol. 1 & 2
and then there's all the non-game albums such as Rising Force of Gears 1-3, Sound Alive, In N.Y., In L.A., Night Of Knives Drama 1-3, and so on.

And maybe some I'm forgetting.

The Sound Complete Box is also missing all three Image Vocal Tracks and the Guilty Gear XX Λ Core Plus Soundtrack.

Thanks for all the responses, everyone! :D

Lol, I guess the "Sound Complete Box" isn't so complete after all. Hmm, from what you guys said, looks like I got a lot of downloading to do on top of the other OSTs I want to download too...(it would be faster but stupid 56K connection >_<)

Well, I better get started if I want to finish it in a week or so, lol XD

Actually, like most versus fighting games, Guility Gear soundtracks are all essentially the same for the most part. If you had to download one or two soundtracks, I'd go for the Guilty Gear X Heavy Rock Tracks ~ The Original Soundtrack of Dreamcast and the Guilty Gear XX Λ Core Plus Soundtrack CD. Possibly the Korean Version for something a little different.

not including that guilty gear 2 and Isuka are entirely unique soundtracks, ^ is basically right.

Game wise, Yeah, I agree. They all are pretty much the same. However, I would say give Guilty Gear X2 OST a chance since it's got some new tracks. The other songs have been arranged if that's the rite word

You could always look for a track list to make comparisons with to see if you have all available tracks. I usually do this if the soundtrack seems to be missing something.

As far as available soundtracks, I'm not too familiar with the X series, but the XX series seems mostly to be some new and remastered tracks from the X series. Isuka, XX Reloaded Korean, Guilty Gear 2, and Judgement are all entirely different from each other, so I would definitely check them all out. XX Reloaded Korean is done by the group N.EX.T, and even though it's not Daisuke, they did a nice job with the soundtrack.

I've always been bothered by this, but has N.EX.T done anything else besides Reload? Try google-ing N.EX.T, it's VERY hard to get a hit that isn't labeled as "next" instead of N.EX.T.

Doesn't seem to be so. I wonder how they even came about to doing the Korean version's soundtrack anyway. I would enjoy seeing them do another soundtrack of some kind.

I forgot to try Wiki. Yeah, there's album listings, but seems like Reload is the only game they did. Too bad too.
