On Final Fantasy IX, i have heard that if you get all the Stellazzios and acquire the hammer, you get an extra scene after you beat the game

Indeed! And if u use the save file of IX with the hammer on FFVII, u can resurrect Aeris.

Oh, and wrong forum section.

The 'secret scene' in question is just an extra scene added to the play in the ending sequence - basically it shows as part of the play's storyline Blank's character is unmasked as a traitor and 'executed' by Baku's character King Leo. That's all it is. After that scene, it continues as normal with the scene on the dock.

All you need to access this scene is to have the Hammer item in your inventory when you finish the game. You do NOT require Save the Queen as has been claimed. Although it is rather pointless to do so anyway.

Probably the lamest extra scene I've ever encountered.

The 'secret scene' in question ....

The scene in question is rather miniscule, it's definetely not worth getting (of course getting the 13 coins helps out a little with killing Ozma, though after 7 years of owning the game in question, STILL haven't killed him)

Ozma's really not so rough if you've powered up certain characters' attacks and have certain types of armor and make sure to not have your characters' levels be multiples of five (seem to recall he uses L5 Death.)

Actually I found out recently that it's better to have one character with a level multiple of 5 (and also 4) because if nobody is any of those levels then it won't try to use Lv4 Holy or Lv5 Death at all. It sounds good and I always used to avoid them too, but it just means he has less choices so is more likely to use Curse or Meteor, so actually it's better to have that available.

Ah, very interesting tip to know. Yeah, having him perform those attacks but them only being able to affect one character would definitely be helpful, since like you said, it wastes time using those instead of other powerful attacks that would affect all your characters.

Hmm, interesting tip to know, I've owned that game for years and have gotten 100% of that game with the exception of beating Ozma. That little extra cutscene you get after aquiring Cinna's Hammer is quite disapointing.

Heh, the second time I beat the game I had the Hammer but had no idea what it was supposed to do. Useless items aren't unheard of in videogames, especially RPGs, so I didn't think too much about it. A few days later I read it added an extra scene to the ending so I was pretty much "WTF" because I never noticed the Baku scene was the secret one, so insignificant it was.

It sounds it >.< I never bothered with it and now I' glad I didn't/ You would expect a little bit more out of a Hidden or extra scene...how disappointing

LOL, except totally not. Ecoleman, please stop reviving threads that are old just to repeat stuff that has already been said.
