What are you thoughts on the 2 sequals in planning for ff10? Do you think they will just be the same game from another point of view? or an actual sequal? In ff international, you see tidus in one of those speres, which hints at a sequal right? But then again how did he get there? He died when the faith stopped dreaming right? or did he just go back to Zanarkend? But how could he go back to Zanarkend if the faith stopped dreaming? Cause it wouldn't be able to exist. Just post your oppions :P.

Secondly, Square has apparently said that they're making an FFX game with Yuna or someone as the main character. I assume this means a sequel. (It would suck if it were a different character but the exact same game. Given Square's habit of rereleasing the same games over and over, though, I wouldn't put it past them.)

And about Tidus reappearing, here's my theory.

Tidus, obviously, died. He saw Auron and Jecht in the farplane. (geez, I just had to backspace what I typed because I wrote "lifestream" instead of "farplane." Square has to learn to stick to the same terms in its games... :rolleyes: ) But because he loves Yuna (and, I don't remember actually hearing this but I've heard others say Yuna whistles at the end of the game, which is her way of asking Tidus to help her) he leaves the farplane (like Auron and Jyscal did) to go to her. If there is a sequel, it will most likely feature Tidus as an unsent and it will have a sad ending because Tidus will have to die again. :(

Sorry for not marking spoilers. I hope I didn't ruin the game for anybody.

After watching the entire Another Story thing again on my evil Japanese PS2, the thing about him using forbidden Machina sends a lot of different messages into mind. o_O

Some of my friends say that the Tidus we played as was not Tidus at all, but some kind of thing (clone or something you could say) that was made by that Machina. Some others say that the person in that Sphere was not Tidus at all, just another people who looked like him.

After replaying Final Fantasy X (the second time was with International), Dona said to Yuna that eventually Yuna will need to defend herself without help from her Guardians. Though the time between the events of FFX and the FFX Another Story could be what it was refering to, no one is really sure. Then again, it could just be a normal comeback from Dona.

I wanna play more. ;_;

Well myself I think that it is high time that Square made a real sequal to a FF. I always thought that they should have done so. they could make a shit load of cash if they did.

I have heard many different thing about the end and where Tidus comes back or is brought back. But at the end where they try and hug each other hints that he is neither dead or alive. If he would have died those little balls of light would have emited from him like the others. My philosiphy is that the Faith even though they stopped dreaming saw the pain that they inflicted on Yuna and thought of a way for her to make him real. If the faith were powerful enough to summon Zandarken then this would be an easy task for them.

But that is my opinion.

Fujin mentioned earlier about the sequel with yuna as the main character. i read this too, but i don't know where. and it also said that there was another version with rikku as the main character. i dont know where i read this so i have nothing to back me up....

i have a question though. i'm re-playing the game (i do this alot with games) and i'm at mt. gagazet where there's the walla of the fayth, and then tidus falls asleep and he finds out he's a dream. the fayth kid says that tidus, his dad, his mom and everyone are a dream. here's my q: if his mom is a dream, how come she's at the farplane at the beginning of the game?

Heck, even I don't understand the whole concept on "dead" or "alive" in FFX. I guess that they lived once before sin's time and the Fayth dreamt them and they become "alive".

She's in the Farplane because she was, at one point, alive. She lived and died a thousand years ago. Everyone in Zanarkand has been dead for at least a thousand years. The dream of the fayth just brought their spirits to the future. So, if my understanding of it is correct, Tidus should have died when Sin hit Zanarkand, but instead the fayth brought him to the future.

It's like the Aeons. The Aeons are the spirits of the fayth. They're dead, but they're not considered unsent. They just aren't allowed to go to the Farplane like normal people until Yuna defeated Sin and sent them all. Tidus was the same way. He should have died and gone to the farplane, but the fayth forced him to live in Spira, in a world where he shouldn't exist.
