Hello, people!

The name is konou_ken! I wanted to share some of the work I have been doing over the years!!!
It has been my passion to compile and fuse different kinds of music together to a disctinctive mixtape/compilation. I always follow a spontaneous inspiration, a certain mood created by listening to music or being inspired by anything that comes along.
For 10 years I have been sharing those works on p2p-sites like soulseek, but with the help of forums and sharehosters I finally decided to let you guys have a listen to my output now!
I always try to be as diverse as possible and to pick the more unusual and unknown tracks and bands out there. That is why I don't have any kind of special genre, although I have been mixing tons of Reggae/Dub in the past.
For starters I wanted to share one of my earliest mixtapes with you:

Moorie's Dark Days (2004)

Moorie or Moorieman has always been my pseudonym over the years, just recently I changed to konou_ken. I like to play with those pseudonyms around a little, so don't get confused when I sign with something like k_ken, moo_ken or m_k! That is still me! ^^

As the name of the mixtape implies I was compiling this one when I wasn't in such a good, rather a dark mood. This means plenty of moody and experimental, but still accessible tunes ranging from Dub, Elektro, Trip-Hop to some Anime Soundtracks! Yes, Anime soundtracks!!! Check the tracklist, then you will know which songs I used! For those interested: I was mixing this one with my old tape recorder still!
