I agree with Link006 on this one! That has to be one of my favorite Zelda songs ever. It lives up to the atmosphere that the temple sets. Also, it was placed on a perfect time: you just became old Link, the world is a creepy mess, and now your best friend is captive in this dark, horrible temple. It sets the suspense for this area and gives it a little "horror" feel. Great song!!!

Blasphemy! And it's my favorite of this kind of music.

"City in the Sky" and "Gerudo Desert" from the same game fit the same mood, more or less, though they're not "forest themes".

Someone should make a compilation of this stuff. I'd love to hear all of those other themes from other games mentioned here.

I think I should also bring to y'all's attention "Mystic Forest" from Tales of Phantasia.
"Stream of Time" and "Desolate Road" from the same game are also used in forest(s) at some point if I remember correctly and their mood and style should fit in with the other tracks mentioned in this thread.

the two forest themes from Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster's Hidden Treasure for the Sega Genesis are favorites of mine.
