Thank you!!

You know, the composer of the score, Megumi Ohashi, used to work under the supervision of Kentaro Haneda before he passed away.

Very much like her mentor, Ms. Ohashi is an accomplished craftsman (or craftswoman) as this score amply shows.

You are welcome.

Here is a little information page of the composer.

http://www.face-music.co.jp/2_artist/ohashi.htm

As you can see, she is a cute little lady born in 1975 in Hiroshima, Japan.

When she was studying in Tokyo College of Music (http://www.tokyo-ondai.ac.jp/en/index.php), she studied with Shinichiro Ikebe, a well respected composer who provided music to numerous motion pictures including Akira Kurosawa.

Well, this is pretty much all I know about Ms. Ohashi.

Chao!!

Yaeh! Kentaroh Haneda is MY FAVORITE of all composers.
I cried when he died :(

I first heard Megumi Ohashi on Transformers galaxy force

I'm not familiar with this soundtrack. Is it part of a new MS IGLOO series, or are they tracks that weren't released with the original IGLOO OST back in 2005?

Thanks for sharing.

@lawrence bastard
the music is really heroic, mystic, arcane and powerful

from wikipedia
Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO 2: Gravity Front

Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO 2: The Gravity Front (機動戦士ガンダム MS IGLOO 2 重力戦線 ,Kidō Senshi Gandamu MS IGLOO 2 Juuryoku-sensen?) was announced on March 25, 2008. The series would consist of three 30-minute episodes and have its setting based on Earth and from Earth Federation's point of view. The 3D CGI will be in high definition, higher in quality than what was seen in the previous productions. The production staff is largely unchanged, though the mecha designers behind the design works in this series are Yutaka Izubuchi, Kimitoshi Yamane, Takuhito Kusanagi, Shinji Aramaki and Fumihiro Katagai. The super high-detail designs will appear in the U.C. Hardgraph line and be used as is in the animation.

The 1st episode "Shoot at that Death!" was officially released on October 24, 2008. The 2nd episode "King of the Land, Forward!" was released on January 23, 2009. The 3rd episode "Odessa, Iron Storm!" was released on April 24, 2009.

I don't think I've ever heard arcane music before.

So it's a whole new miniseries. Well I hope they fix the bugs from the last one; the mobile suit explosions were just too weird. That and the dialogue had way too many metaphors in it.

I think I should point out that this OST is supposed to have 2 discs. Do you only have one, Billie?

EDIT: My mistake. That refers to the limited edition, which I think contains the OST to the original IGLOO series. The regular edition only has the one disc.
