I can't tell you how lovely it is to hear Silvestri again. One of the greats - and one of the few guys who still makes an effort. Splendid stuff; I'll actually go and see the movie, just for the score...!

I don't recommend doing that. I did that for The Mummy Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and it wasn't worth it. The score was fantastic but the movie not so much. Although I hear the night at the museum movies are actually good despite the trailers that make it look kiddy.

I also listened to the video game music and it sounds like chris tilton did good from silversti's themes.

True dat... Though I have to admit, I enjoyed the first movie for what it was - a couple of hours of childish, moronically stupid, popcorn entertainment. I watched it on TV with my missus with lots and lots of beer, so it probably went down better than it should've done...

Have to first mux the multichannel files to surround oggs, but first need a new soundcard to do that. 360 version uses surround files and quality is great.

I have heard a preview from this and it sounded very good so I'm gonna check it out. After all it's A Silvestri.

If you can mux surround sound then yes i can send them to you.

Eatch track has 3 channels. the front two channels in one file, the left channel in another file and the rear two channels in another file.

So three files with surround channels.

I see - and you want to combine these in a standard 2-track mixdown with surround encoding so people with pro-logic kit can decode?

Worth a try... I used to mix prologic soundtracks when I was freelancing for a film production company. I can but attempt.
