So, is anyone else a huge Home Movies fan? Or maybe you've only seen the show a few times and didn't know what to make of it so you didn't continue watching (this is a common occurrence). I honestly watch the show every day and I'm actually watching it right now (the episode "History"). My favorite episodes would be...

1.) Psycho Delicate
2.) Mortgages and Marbles
3.) Broken Dreams
4.) Hiatus
5.) School Nurse

My favorite character is Coach John McGuirk with Mr. Ronald Lynch being a close second. I also love the music which is produced by Brendon Small (also of Metalocalypse) for it fits the show perfectly. I'm just curious what everyone else thinks of the show.

oh, I thought this was a thread about actual home movies, which I am quite fond of.

Never seen this show that you speak of however.

You can actually find the entire run of the show on YouTube if anyone is interested.

The show aired on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. The first season had the same squigglevision-type animation (if you want to call it that) as Dr. Katz. The first season or at least the first 5 episodes were aired on UPN as a part of there animation block with Dilbert until the show was cancelled but CN soon picked them up for the rest of the first season as well as three more. Starting in the second season the squigglevision had been scrapped and the show was now produced in Flash.

The show centered around a young boy named Brendon Small who, with his group of friends, produced films (or Home Movies) in his basement. The show also branched out to stories revolving around his mother Paula and his soccer coach, John McGuirk.

The main characters of the show were voiced by Brendon Small (Brendon), H. Jon Benjamin (Jason, McGuirk), Melissa Bardin Galsky (Melissa), and Janine Ditullio (Paula). But other voices that joined the fray were Ron Lynch, Sam Seder, Jonathan Katz, Laura Silverman, Louis C.K., Mitch Hedberg, Andy Kindler, Emo Philips, Todd Barry, and David Cross many of whom had worked on Dr. Katz.

After the show ended after four seasons, Brendon Small went on to do the highly popular Metalocalypse while the rest of the main crew (Loren Bouchard - director, Melissa Bardin Galsky - producer, and H. Jon Benjamin - main voice actor) went on to do the lesser known Lucy: Daughter of the Devil.

When did I double post?

And Metalocalypse rules, but if you disagree then I have no right to dispute. I saw one episode of Lucy and I felt that it was pretty stupid and unfunny. Maybe I should watch a few more episodes before I pass judgment, what do you think?
