"I once single-handledly killed over a hundred knights. To me, you two are nothing more than insects." Beatrix, taunting Freya and a Burmecian soldier.

"What the hell?!! The only scoundrels here are you and your fat queen!!" Zidane, responding to Beatrix's taunts.

And who can forget Kuja's classic lines, like:

"And now Brahne, your role in this tragic drama will come to an abrupt end! Act 2: The End of the Ugly Desire! I hope you'll enjoy the view from your soul's hellish prison, because the setting will be your former home!! The third act will take us away from Gaia, where I will kill my nemesis, with my own hands!! Ahh, everything is proceeding as I have forseen."

Quite a different meaning. I'm know very very little Japanese though, so I can't give my own opinion on what the writer was really trying to convey.

Besides my previously mentioned 'ooo soft' quote, some of the many jokes about Steiner's rusty armour stand out in my mind too! Particulary this one:

"C'mon Princess. Let's ditch 'Sir Rustalot' and get out of here!" Zidane, after Garnet's cover in the play is blown.

Or:

"Hah hah! That's a good one! Sorry, but I don't date bums. You really should scrape some of that rust off. It's disgusting!" Female dragoon in Lindblum's Business District, mistaking Steiner's request for directions for a bad pick-up line.

Or:

"I think so too Garnet. The female general of Alexandria, the best dragoon of Burmecia, and.... Rusty. How could they possibly lose?" Zidane, attempting to alay Garnet's fears for Beatrix, Freya and Steiner's safety after fleeing Alexandria.

how true. all he wanted to do was help and wanting to do something is a powerful thing. he helped someone who he didn't know all that well at the start of the game and i really liked that. i've done something similar to that and all because i wanted to. i didn't need a good reason (i cut my hair and donated it if you want to know and i plan to do that again (as soon as i have hair down to the middle of my back))

Sometimes when I replay the game, I'll name Steiner Rusty for added giggles. XD

i did that once and it was funny until my game accidently got deleted. i named him clankie in my new game
