I can't believe it's so close already! Anyone else planning to see it?

Like most people, I did think that the Da Vinci Code movie was terrible, but that's because I wasn't really a fan of the book either. I loved reading A&D a lot more, and remember thinking that it's more movie-material. I never even thought that about DVC to begin with, and it's probably why it sucked so much. DVC didn't have a whole lot of action. It had some, but it was weak compared to the others, as the book was more about the puzzles than the action-adventure thriller.

But I still have my fingers crossed that this movie's gonna be awesome. I'd see it opening night if it weren't for final exams.

Great book was much better than The Di Vinci Code in my opinion. The movie was just lame, books always reign supreme.

I just saw the movie and it was MUCH better than DVC. Howard definitely improved on that, then again maybe I just like that one more out of the books.

There were some differences but they really didn't matter a whole lot. Everything that was changed was changed for a good reason, and anyone who expects it to be 100% like the book is an idiot cause then it would be a little boring.

But there was a twist at the end different from the book's ending - Cardinal Baggia, the water victim, survives and becomes Pope. In the book the great elector guy becomes the Pope after all prefretti die.

I'm satisfied with that change, though.
