These are the soundtracks to the Record of Lodoss War anime. The music is fantastic orchestral with a sort of medieval/tribal sound to it. You guys should all check it out!!

Hah, I knew it...I mouth off in another thread about how I don't find Kaoru Wada all that appealing... and ten minutes later you post a score of his that I'd never heard before. Having listened, what can I say? It's wonderful, absoutely wonderful. Thank you!

:D I am glad you enjoy it :) Personally I can't listen to Wada in large doses because he does tend to be quite repetitive in his use of themes (especially between these three albums) but for a while I can certainly find myself in musical bliss :)

I'm ashamed to say, most of the time I find his music too... understated... to satisfy me for a standalone listening experience. I don't know why; I should love his music. But most of the time I don't.

But this, I do. :)
