This is the very epitome of a "fun" score, and is in my opinion, the best output from Tyler that I've heard in YEARS (I keep waiting for him to pull another "Children of Dune" out of his ass, but that hasn't happened so far! :P)

Well I haven't seen the movie yet. It looks pants (I'll prolly rent it on DVD!). But I rarely link the quality of a movie to the quality of a soundtrack. I tend zero in on a score if I like the composer and the genre of the movie.

I don't know about the soundtrack, but do you really need to watch the movie to know that it is bad? Look at the cover art. Watch the trailer. They should have taken a "less is more" approach with the marketing...as in showing less would've resulted in more ticket sales during the opening weekend. :)

lol, I actually enjoyed the film. I knew it wasn't going to be anything like the anime or the manga so I took it for what it was: a fun, entertaining popcorn flick. You'd be surprised at how much fun you can have when you realize it's not gonna be true to any source material. xD
