So as a lot of you know I do Motion Graphics for a living. I'm not great, I may not even be decent, but I live off of it. I'm self taught and I figured other people post drawings and the like-- I can't draw for anything, but that doesn't mean I'm not 'artsy' does it? I figured if I can't draw, I'll post the most artistic thing that I can do.

So tell me-- is this art, or work?

Absolutely it's art. Why wouldn't motion graphics be art? Unless you're referring to the fact that it's commercial art, at which point you start that whole debate that "high art snobs" like to perpetuate.

And you've got some really great stuff there. Don't devalue it like that. I've been trying to teach myself some of this stuff for a while now and I'm certainly not at that level. It doesn't come easy to me, but I keep working on it, hoping I can start earning some money with it, as well.
