Seems these EAC and FLAC lossless audio files are really catching on.

The DS version pwns both the 64 and Wii edition. But they're all unique in their own right.

With HDD space being so cheap rightly so... except that this rip is actually in MP3.

If you ask me, Mario Kart DS was the start of items being stupidly unbalanced, and snaking being VERY broken.
I think people give the DS version far too much credit for it's wifi.

Either way, thanks for this awesome rip, bro.

Mario kart DS was pretty fun though, with the missions and battles and whatnot, Super Mario kart was fun too, but Mario Kart Wii is the best because you can do WiFi and play against people aroudn the world without friend codes, and there's also Miis too and bikes and the Wii Wheel works really good!!! oh, and the music is outstanding!!!

I think that Mario Kart DS without snaking (maybe just non-abusable power slides) would have been the best Mario Kart. Snaking did ruin the game, online you either crippled your hands snaking or you lost. Against friends it was a lot of fun until people started to snake too and its too hard to draw a line between snaking and power sliding on corners so the game degraded into a mostly unplayable experience for the average gamer. Great for kids though who don't worry about such things.

That said its better than the Wii game where you might as well draw straws to see who wins as its so luck based that being good at the game is more or less worthless and this lack of incentive to play well really sucks the fun from the game.
