What the deuce does this do? "See for yourself"... okay, I see for myself that it sometimes helps and sometimes kills random allies at a given time. Does it have a pattern or is this it?

I think it's like a Roulette move. No actual pattern and it's just more you taking a chance to use it. I never actually used it because of that reason.
