Hey Formdogs how's it going? Well we've all played it and if you haven't yet, you are either really poor, or just not born yet. Lets talk about Street Fighter! I'm basically a nub, well kinda, I can hold my own and kick some ass but, No perfects! At least not online, and I can't beat arcade in HD remix in classic mode. I made this thread to learn some strategies because I'm not liking what I'm finding online, at least what i'm looking for. So I'ma share because that's fair!

Like I said before I'm not great and most people probably already do the same stuff I do but I'll give what I can and see and hope it helps some of you out.

I pretty much just use ken by the way....
Shoryuken shoryuken shoruyken! Dragon Punch'em as they are getting up and Med dragon punch with the bigger guys.

or when i'm knocked down I'll constantly hit LP it usually helps me escape from a agressive opponent. It'll push me away enough to the point where I'll be far enough to jump away and not get leg sweeped.

With the super hadouken bros. A way I find useful to move around is by doing a Jumping away or towards and opponent and doing a hurricane kick in the air (haven't perfect this yet, don't know if its possible)

For ken I find that doing a LP hadoken will let me move in on an oppenent its kinda like have a wall to protect you from one hit you just follow it.

For Akuma when my super is full I try to avoid doing his obvious Son Goku Satsu by taking the time to stand there and enter LP LP foward LK HP I try to jump into it as in jump toward the opponent with a jumping LP and when the LP lands (it doesn't have to) I follow up with the rest of the move and it connects, the opponent almost never sees it comming.

Well this is what i have, I'd love to see what you guys got, espcially for Zanghief because I absolutely can not to his super!!!

PS. I'd love some help figuring out how to beat Guile players and players that Crouch alot.

Well I've sinced pretty moved over to Third Strike and I've taken some what of a break from fighting games to play RPG's. But In HD remix I like to use Ken, Akuma, and Zangeif. I don't exactly have a strategy with ken I just use him an feel out my opponent and try to counter with whatever I think is best. I play aggressively with akuma but it does leave me open to punishment, my idea is that if I hurt them enough and fast enough then I'll have a better chance surviving the rest of the round. With Zangief I think he has got good pokes so I try to poke at them and use his spinning green pimp slap when they least expected it so I can rape them right after.

Nice. My favorite SF2 game is Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition for the classic, and the Alpha Series. SFIII and IV too, but those first two are the ones I enjoy the most. My top 3 chars are Ken, Guile and Dee Jay. My strategy mostly consist of hit and run. For Ken, a crouching roundhouse cancel into a hadoken to throw them off guard, with a combo of weak and strong hits to force them to attack and then counterattack. Pretty much what I do with Guile, but more grabs with him.

Of course I suck big time.

In hyper fighting, that is the first time you can pick the boss characters right?

No, I'm sorry this isn't Dragon Ball Z Budokai series burst mode. Nor is it tekken or the Capcom vs series...
Button bash and hope for the best

I like all those games though.
