Yo. I guess some might know that there are quite a lot of metal bands out there creating covers from video game themes. Ranging from very well known to not so known ones. Also, some may know the Swedish band Machinae Supremacy, which creates - as they call it - SID Metal. Some of the bands are even made by the composers themselves, such as the very well known Black Mages.
This thread is dedicated to bands creating video game or chiptune metal.

So, why it's called "shared"... I will, of course, provide the (first) links to albums. Of course, I don't know every band creating music like this, or own their stuff. But as I want to make a whole collection thread, summarizing everything which is to be found so you fucks can listen to it... if you have an album which isn't listed, or know of an artist, please do contribute!

Also, I will try to link to a homepage or MySpace of these bands...

0.) This thread is a Work in Progress, still. During the time I will add more information on the bands and albums, maybe even add tracklists or covers.
1.) You can only request a re-upload when the link(s) is/are broken.
If it is not below on the list, please do not request an upload!

Yes, they are all "video game themed".

There's some original compositions on these japane bands.. like Jesus is Dead.
But they are "mainly" video game related.
The rest is american bands (western bands at least i am not 100% sure if they are all americans), and it's metal/guitar stuff. (with the classic style/poor audio quality sometimes)

As I understand there`re bands` names in blue and their albums below. But there`s no information whether it is from game, some games presentation or conferention, trailers and promotion videos or it`s created as band`s own album.
