I think they're great, personally. I love that you provide the method to this madness.

Sprites will always be better than anything a CELL processor can create. In my heart, anyway~

haha thanks, and hey if you want to learn, I can give you some links of tutorials I read and studied at first... and yeah, I have that style of making sprites, you see I use colors first, then I make the outline, etc... but I learned a lot from tutorials, as well you have to practice and spend a lot of time. I am improving everyday, I plan to show up more next week, I don't have internet, so I have delays when uploading content, I'll advise you.

Now I'm doing a little bigger sprites, 100x Height, and around 50-60 Width. I recently made chloe valens, from tales of legendia, I have the sprite at home, and I'm making series of characters from specific games, so I am starting with the tales series, then I plan to do some Fire emblem characters, and Final fantasy as well. In final fantasy charas, I want to do Final Fantasy 4, since it was my first RPG I ever played and one of my favorites since back in the 90s haha. :)

here are some of the tutorials, I encourage you guys who want to do this, to read and study as well follow the advice of these people:

this one in spanish, but still look at the process, since it's all pictures basically:

Looks fantastico! Always wanted to try out pixel characters like that, but never seemed to be good at it, or lacking the right knowledge; I'll check your links definitely~

Hey yes, it will be great if you start doing pixels. Also if you are interested in learning how to make rpgs using rpgmaker 2k3, XP, VX, let me know, I got links for everything on regards that, since the main reason why I'm learning this, is to finally make the graphics of my past games from scratch hehe. :)

Thanks. Glad you like them. Most of the updates I have it on my deviant art account... Anyways, I updated the thread with the latest sprites so far... I might not do as many sprites for the DA gallery since I have to sprite a couple of things for one of my rpgmaker projects.

Btw, according to some dude, Yuri Lowell is left-handed... how would I know, I never played Tales of Vesperia lol.

awesome stuff!
a good sprite always looks better than a low-poly 3d model in lower graphics games
