Golden Sun is the greatest RPG I've played in a long time. Definately my favorite. It's a fresh original story with some decent dungeon puzzles.
If you like a little strategy mixed in with your RPG ala FFT style I suggest Tactics Ogre: Knigt of Lodis by Quest. I can get lost in that game for hours. On sort of a side note Quest was recently bougt by Square so there's a new home for Ogre Battle. On top of that Square is going to make an FFT sequal and it promises to be great with now that the guys that made the original Tactics Ogre for PSX. But enough of that, Square also has a game in the works based on the Final Fantasy Unlimited anime series.Just chew on those for a while.

Haven't played Golden Sun, but I know it's great. Also Castlevania:CotM is cool.

Yes as the others before,Golden Sun.I have to say this is the best game made for any hand-held.i can't wait till Golden Sun 2:The Lost age comes out!That and the remake to The Legend Of Zelda:A Link to the Past.

Golden sun.... I have it and my bateries didnt go out after 2 hours they lasted a long long time, I dint time myself tho >_< ... Well Breath of Fire, the first one, that one is AWESOME too but it was on SNES so spare yerself the 40 bucks and get a used copy fer snes for bout 20 :-).. Eventho I bought it on GBA :D ...
AND I jus wanted to add that they stopped porducing Breath of Fire for GBA, so its kinda rare, I say buy it fer GBA, while u still can!
Although i dont have a lot of experience with rpg's on the gba (golden sun being the only one ive played) i cant really see any of game beating that one for a long time. Brilliant game, absolutely brilliant!

Golden Sun is the best RPG made for the gba!! Nobody even doubts it...

Hands down Golden Sun. Probabally the best rpg for any hand held system ever. The sequel looks to be just as amazing. It stars none other than Felix, which should be very, very interesting...
EDIT: And to those of you who happen to be wasting all you batteries....BUY THE ADAPTER! Save your batteries for the time when you are making use of the fact that the system is portable, and otherwise, just find a comfy seat near and outlet and enjoy hours of game play dead battery fee. They're pretty cheap, especially considering how much you'd spend on batteries otherwise....
Breath of fire 2 is the best ;)

I can�t say anything positive or negative about Golden Sun since I haven�t played but I will vote for Breath of Fire 2.

There is only one bad thing I have to say about Golden Sun.... AUTO-TARGETING! ;_;
Otherwise, best RPG I've played on a Hand-Held since Pokemon. =P
