thank you for all the great rips but i got a question.. how "exodia theme", "dragon summoned" and "millenium battle" are so well ripped and the others quality is not the same?

The rip of the Season 1 theme you have is superior to the one I uploaded in my English Themes package, but the season 2 is lacking a lot - so much so that I used "Your Move" from the Yu-Gi-OH! Movie and broke that track down. You also forgot there seems to be a few alternates available (Season 1 alternate intro, season 1 alternate, season 2 alternate etc - basically these can be made from the two long theme tracks in Music to Duel By and Pyramid of Light)

Yes, indeed it is! It was never released on a cd, this is easily one of the better US themes.

You need not rip anything, because there is actually a site out there with CLEAN audio from the series. It requires a password however, and I am not inclined to give both out freely.

I know which site you're talking about (just discovered it the other day), and I wanted to point out that, based on my research, the person who posted the music is actually Joel Douek, the dub score composer. I personally think it's really cool of him to post this stuff since none of it is commercially available.

Even more, he listens to the fans. The "Duel Madness Instrumental Mix" was a request by a fan, I think after seeing my Duel Madness AMV on YouTube. And he obliged! If only all composers were as generous.

The music in that package is just reordered (albeit randomly in places) to fit a track order design for easier MP3 listening. I did not alter any of it (although I physically had to record via Stereo Mix Pegasus - Evil Eyes because the download kept cancelling at the final second)

that would depend on the link in question...
anything ripped from the show itself takes time and patience to do. And watching the show over and over again to try to find the best place to rip the song (with the least amount of talking, though this can be a bit more possible if you have the anime on DVD). Also trying to find places or bits... like if a couple seconds of the song appears in one scene and seems to be finished off in another and putting them together.

If you're talking about the "Music to Duel By" that's because 4kids Entertainment, and Vic and whoever else was involved... sucks. They never release all the music to the public... which returns us to the above ripping process of trying to get the rest of the music ourselves.

Mewsie, I don't know if you checked out ggctuk2005's link, but those aren't rips - they are the source audio from the show that Joel Douek (the composer) has been releasing as of late, with no voices or SFX.

I'm going to go ahead and post a link to Joel's YouTube page here so people know what's going on:

O-0 he's lucky he still has some rights to his own music than. as most composers lose that when they sign with these big companies, and therefore can't release anything that wasn't released from the company they signed with due to themselves no longer owning the full copyright.

Because it hasn't "all" been released by Joel yet. Mine's a proto package, as I said, designed to make it easier ordered for MP3 players and media players.

Essentially, it amounts to what I believe 4Kids should have released as opposed to Music to Duel By.

According to Joel, the mixing of that album was up to John (either Siegler or Angier, he did not say in the PM I received after asking him about the official "Exodia" track). He also says that most of the music used in the "Special Battle Tracks" was probably used in the show, though he doesn't know when.

Let me know when you get more tracks mate! :)

What's left is from the movie. There's a couple I didn't include because the titles are only cue numbers (IE 103m07) which would make no sense.

I was going to ask, but you sort of already answered my question - you don't happen to know when the tracks that are just cue numbers appeared during the series, do you?

I think the cue number is when it appeared... 1:03:07 (an hour, 3 minutes 7 seconds) perhaps... but I'm taking a guess.

But since every episode is no longer than 25 mins that wouldn't make sense. No, those numbers are just ordering, all composers I know of use that format. The first number before M is usually the reel number, in this case it would be reel 103. Since the soundtrack was spliced to fit the show, I'm guessing they composed without seeing the finished products. M means, well, Music, I believe, and 7 is the cue number in that reel.

You know what guys? I think I will rip EVERY SINGLE episode from 1 to 224.
It might take time, but I will do it good and it will be the best way to collect
all sounds/music you ever wanted!!! :)

NOTE: DO NOT ask for GX/5Ds rips, I might do them, but after 224 episodes of original yugioh first!

I asked him, actually, if there was more material for the Main Theme, he hasn't got back to me yet (after all, he didn't compose the main theme, that was John Siegler and Wayne Sharpe), but I believe so, if what we got is anything to go by, they might have come up with different themes for the seasons.

Actually,

1) Wayne Sharpe and John Siegler made the main theme

2) If I have problems with some episodes to rip some stuff, I might
mix in the Joel tracks that he released, I have them all so far on my PC.

3) Each rip will be an episode in 320kbps MP3 file. (Stereo, 44.1-48.0kHz)
hosted on my mediafire account folder.

On a sort-of-on-topic note, Joel has released "The Seal of Orichalcos ver2" on his site, it's closer to the one we might all remember. I've been updating my ST too with the new stuff, naming the cues I left out and putting things in logical order. Heck, it even includes the movie too.

You did a good job, however you missed at least 20 cues. I am going
to make a "complete edition" where IT IS complete by all means.
It will take time, but I plan to do it good! I will do it in 5 parts, for each

P.S.: Tracks like "Millennium Battle" are composed by Gil Talmi and not Joel Douek.
The same goes with track "Episode 1 Classroom", it`s not by Various, it`s composed
by John Peterson. Some tracks are by Elik Alvarez and Freddy Sheinfled. Most tracks
are by Joel Douek and Gil Talmi. John Siegler and Wayne Sharpe just worked on the
main theme and it`s variations, while John Angier worked on the suspense part.
But who really cares about mp3 tags, lol

Yes, the card would be cool, but it would be banned from tournaments
automatically.

Well, as some of you know, I am working on the Yu-Gi-Oh! Complete Unreleased Score
from 4Kids and I might need your help in getting some missing cues.
The very first missing cue is the cue that is in the background of the story:
"Long ago, when the pyramids were still young...", you know?

Anyway, I am sure we can pull this off, it will just take a lot of time to finish this project.
So, let me know if you can help me out!

Hey Atenzor, I don't know if you were aware of this, but Joel uploaded 31 more tracks, many of which are from the Egypt episodes. I can't open them, and I was wondering if you were able to do so.

BTW, are you trying to open them in Internet Explorer? Try the standard Windows Explorer instead.

He just put them up about a week ago. After posting my last message, I realized how to do that and was able to successfully download them. I was wondering if he was ever going to release some of the Egypt stuff. Great tracks.

Yeah, the only ones I miss now are the last part of the Music to Duel By "Exodia" track and the first part of "Millennium World". There's also some new Great Leviathan stuff there too, and some of the Movie cues.
