Ok, so I listened to it (partially, but checked all tracks) and... some arranges are nice, some are bad, some are not even arranges. Unforunately most of them are not arranges. Damn. I'm dissapointed by this. How many times we will have to hear the SAME tunes?! It's kinda boring. Anyway I'll wait for OST. Maybe official release will be better (properly mixed, with better sound etc).

I wouldn't get your hopes up. If the promo trailer on the official soundtrack is any indication, it will be pretty much the same damn tunes. Oh well, C'est la vie, at least with SE that is.

Yea. I was expecting alot coming from composers like tsuyoshi sekito but wut can one person do. It's pretty risky to go on dangerous ground and make a remix to songs that can never be surpassed.

I must say it was kind of disappointing. I was hoping to hear more "freshened up" versions of some classics but what it sounds like it someone doing semi-climactic elevator music covers. The classic tracks brought back some memories (and fear in some ways)

i liked some of the remixes from the game but the main point is the game itself which is completely awsome.

With a game like Dissidia, you'd EXPECT the entire soundtrack to be classic tunes. It's a shame that so many of them haven't been remixed or rearranged (that's what made Super Smash Bros. Brawl's soundtrack so much fun to listen to), but if you've already heard the songs HUNDREDS of times when playing the game they're originally from, I'm sure you can stand to hear them a few more times with Dissidia. ^_^

The game is awesome. I already have it...even though I don't understand a damn thing on the game since it's japanese, but heck nobody knows if this is getting a US or EU release so I should just enjoy it.

i've heard previews of the dissidia track at the square enix music site... the ff1 battle theme was like whoa... seriously look forward to the ff8 theme... it blew me away XD

edit: the only disappointment in the tracklisting was that they used the original ff9 boss battle theme which didn't amuse me at all =.=" though the song "Cosmos" is pretty nice! Well listening to pieces of it on youtube... sends shivers down mi spine! other than that, i hope it's a good ost thou it's recycled material. kinda looking forward to the "evil" victory fanfare XD

Everyone at work is playing the Japanese download. I for one like to buy my games in English form but its a treat to still hear the pre-release songs. Anyone know when the North American release of the game is??

Also for those people who are complaining about the repeated music....basically dissidia is a compilation of characters from some final fantasy games so it only fits that the music comes from each of those games.

That's the OST. I'm looking for the gamerip so I can get the tracks that weren't on that (The bonus songs from the PP Shop, as well as the DFF Version of whatever Shantotto and Gabranth's map themes are.)

Can someone please at least upload the game rip version of "Over That Hill"? Perfectly extended/looped it for 15 minutes-ish would be even better :)
