Anyone old enough to remember this classic childrens movie sequel will also recall how dark it was. In fact, it was closer to L. Frank Baum's original dark, disturbing books than the colourful Wizard of Oz.

This 12-track score, created by David Shire and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, is strictly instrumental and provides a hauntingly beautiful backdrop to the film. The disc has sadly been out-of-print for sometime now. enjoy. (Thankyou eBay!!!)

Includes high-resolution scans of the inlays and the 6-page booklet.

Thank you so much for this. I remember the movie very well, and own the VHS version of it. Fairuza Balk was so talented at that age. I honestly wish they had chosen her to play Dorothy again in the Sci fi movie Tin Man. FYI, the Return to Oz movie isn't out of print...at least not in the states. I've seen at FYE several times, and you can purchase it at Amazon.

Excuse me, but I was wondering... does anyone have a bootleg of this soundtrack? There was so much wonderful music missing... I would absolutely love to have the expanded score.

Recording Sessions? Bootleg? Cast & Crew CD?

I love this film and its music. It's too bad this score is incomplete, though!

Can anyone make a DVD rip of this movie's score? Like with minimal or no sfx? It seems to have been done for movies on here and other places before... can it be done for Return to Oz?

I would love to hear it. :)
