Hello everybody,
I've created a big suite track of James Bond of 28 minutes which contains all the main themes of all the James Bond from Dr No to Quantum of Solace.
It takes me hours xD

It's a long track but if you like James Bond's musics, try it

Post comments after listenning!!

Sounds good the long hours you put into this really shows itself.

I just listened to it and I liked it much. I appreciate your effort, you did well. Now some in-depth commentary

The opening is the classic beginning from that time ago. Its the recording from the sixties, as I believe, because of the not so crystal clear quality. But its the most obvious opener; I would have chosen it by myself.

At 1:46 comes a more modern tune. I know just a bit about bond music, and I wonder about your source. Its some sort of contrast to the opening, but still likeable.

At 3:17, a classic, but short tune switches in. I have to admit, that I cant identify it(shame on me), but it seems to me a bit lost in the context.

Its 4:18, and this is the track 007 out of From Russia with love, as I believe(maybe Im wrong). And also part of a medley, this, or you were able to do an not noticeable transition for my ears.
5:42 is clear, its You only live twice. This is a mellow relief after the stronger tracks before, and a welcome interlude to me.
Then comes one of the younger titles in this suite, a track from Casino Royale starts at 6:37. But its only a short glimpse on this newer music, and a smooth transition follows at 6:54 into what I believe as an orchestral version of A view to a kill. A nice and peaceful version of this upbeat song, and also new to me. But I like it.

8:42 is unfamiliar to me. Its a brooding, mysterious track. Maybe its from Quantum of Solace, I cant say. But it gives the suite some seriousness after the more well-known and energetic tracks.

9:50 is where a more modern and remixed track switches in, with synth elements and distorted sounds. I cant identify it clearly, but it reminded me of the Perfect Dark OST, which I also liked.

In 11:04 begins a track that sounds gloomy, almost desolate to me. I guess, its again a piece from QoS. Its short, and as it begins to become more energetic, the next transition follows.

12:30 starts with an interesting version of Living Daylights. It was new to me, and I liked this orchestral piece with the strong drums.

13:52 sounds somehow nostalgic, and again I cant identify it. But it stops at 14:26, and it seems more to do the transition than anything else.

All Time High comes then, also orchestral. The quality sounds a bit dusty, so I guess its an older recording. But this peaceful, gently tune still graces the ears.

16:24 comes Moonraker, but the quality of the recording is really poor. Maybe it should have been skipped, or replaced by a piece with better sound quality.

17:27 sounds familiar. Its the same as 4:18. Intentionally?

18:53 is unknown to me. A sober, harsh tune starts, that I would not have identify with this franchise.

20:48 starts the Man With The Golden Gun, one of my favorites when it comes to movie especially bond music.

21:44 to 23:40 sounds to me like a seventies-style version of the main theme. Nice, but a bit way off in comparison to the rest, which is mainly orchestral and classic, at least for my ears.

The style changes with O.H.M.S.S., what starts as next. The sound quality is here good again.

26:09 has to be a newer track, its unfamiliar to me. QoS, as I have to guess; I havent seen that movie till now.

The rest is less of a classic style and contains drums and electro organ and leads to the steel string played main theme. It ends with an action packed conclusion, that is not as orchestral and classic as most of the tracks, but unfortunately just gets cut off, what is somehow sad.

In general I like this suite; it doesnt let out an important theme of the franchise, at least non comes to my mind. The sound quality is quite diversely, but I understand thats hard to avoid in such self-made suites. In all it is good, except for the end, which is a bit harsh cut off, but I appreciated your work, firefue, and I will surely listen to it from time to time. And I would greet to see a V2! Yeah, that was a bit long, and I apologize for my poor English, which I learned in Austria ;-)

Thank you to your comments and especially Rahir.
Your review is great, it's going to allow me seeing what i can change for a v2.

I'm going to give the tracklist tonight i think.
Roughly, there is only one track of Quantum of Solace, and there are tracks from Octopussy and others...
The first track is from "Dr No", and the second is from "Tomorrow never dies"
There isn't James Bond movies' chronology but it's my will. I prefer to privilege transitions rather chronology. I think it's the most difficult point for a suite...

For quality, it's a little difficult because there are many albums and quality isn't equivalent but I'm going to see what i can do!
For the end, it was wanted: I thought to end with action musics and the main theme which is less classic...

Finally, The track is so long, i know but it was very hard to reduce time because I think all the main themes from James Bond are here and certains less-known tracks are necesary, i think, to achieve transactions, for a certain coherence. But it's my first job so i know it's not perfect...

But I really appreciate your comment and I shall see what I can change... Thanks so much for time you've spent ;)

Excuse my english too, i'm french so it's a little complicated for me too xD but it's a pleasure!

0:00 - 1:44
James Bond Theme from DR. No.
The classic of all classics, and obviously the only way to start a Bond compilation.
It is a original music by Monty Norman or a original John Barry music? We will never know.
1:45 - 3:15
David Arnold territory here.
Don't know what track is, but maybe some track from Quantum of Solace.
3:16 - 4:17
Scaramanga's Fun House from Man with the Golden Gun
The most strange John Barry music created for a Bond film.
4:18 - 5:41
Aaahh. The famous "007" theme, that Barry created and adapted for a couple of Bond Films.
Don't know what version this is. Maybe from Moonraker.

Can i finish tomorrow?? Would you mind if i give you the rest of my answers and comments tomorrow?
It's a bit late here. And i need a sleep now, lol.

5:42 - 6:33
This is the beautiful theme of You Only Live Twice.
I think it's the track Mountain and Sunsets.
In my opinion is the most beautiful love theme for a Bond movie.

6:34 - 6:51
I'm the Money from Casino Royale By David Arnold.
I really like this slow version of "You Know My Name" theme in this track.
Short but good.

6:52 - 8:40
And this is the romantic theme from A View to a Kill.
Very good the transition you made from I'm the Money into this track.
Another beautiful love theme composed by John Barry.
It could be track Bond Meets Stacey or Wine With Stacey. Don't know which one is.

8:41 - 9:48
David Arnold again, this time with A Night at the Opera, from Quantom of Solace.
One of the good tracks from the latest Band soundtrack

9:49 - 11:01
Wow. Goldeneye.
Quite unexpected to hear Goldeneye here considered how this albums was criticized by fans.
I didn't like this album either, although this track was the only one that kept my attention first.
I think it's the Goldeneye Overture.

11:02 - 11:33
Now this is a track i haven't heard since a long time ago.
Don't have a clue from what film this could be from.

11:34 - 12:28
David Arnold.
And i suppose it's from Quantom of Solace again.

12:29 - 13:51
Scoregasm!!
it's Hercules Takes Off from the Living Daylights, and what a great track this is.
John Barry ends his collaboration for Bond with a great soundtrack with The Living Daylights.
Great choice you made here.

13:52 - 14:22
Ride To Atlantis from the Spy Who Loved Me.
Another good choice for this compilation.

14:23 - 16:22
Another John Barry love theme for Bond.
It's from Octopussy. Don't remember the name of the track though.

16:23 - 18:52
Bond Arrives in Rion From Moonraker.
Good transition you made from the last track into this one.
I think this is thhe last time Barry used the "007" theme on a Bond movie.

18:52 - 19:55
Flight into Space.
This is easily the best track on Moonraker album, in my opinion.

19:56 - 20:44
And this is again a track from You Only Live Twice.
I think it's the track Bond Averts World War Three.
Curious transition you made from Flight Into Space with this track.

20:45 - 21:40
The Man With The Golden Gun theme.
My least favorite of all Barry soundtrack for James Bond.

21:41 - 23:37
YES!! DISCO BOND!!!
Bond 77 from The Spy Who Loved Me. Groovy.

23:38 - 26:07
On Her Majesty's Secret Service main theme. Classic Barry!
This is a great compilation by now. Great work.

26:08 - 26:51
And David Arnold enters the scene again.
This is African Rundown and it's great opening for the Casino Royale soundtrack.
The best Bond action scene in years.

26:52 - 29:13
Fantastic transition.
You finished the Bond suite with a bang, with a great track.
I think this is still my favourite action track, David Arnold made for a Bond film, and it is a well choice to finish the suite.

----

Your work in this suite is really appreciated.
It must be hard for you to choose, and combine how the tracks must be together with a coherent listening.
I liked the way you finished the suite, with the combination of the last 3-4 tracks.
All in all it shows the love you have for the Bond music.
My only criticism, was not the inclusion of music by Bill Conti, George Martin or Michael Kamen ino this suite, But that's only a minor quibble.
Firefue, you are now a double-0 agent, with a licence to kill.

I'm preparing a v2...
Here are modifications that i think do:

*Delete the "second Boat Chase theme" and assure a good transition between "Bond arrives in Rio" and "Flight into space".

*Some transactions will be changed (notably between Hamburg break in and Scaramanga's house)

*Add three part of tracks:
One from Elektra's theme (The World is not enough), The living daylights suite and Mujahidin And Opium (from the Living Daylights)

Give me your opinion on these modifications and if there are themes that you would like to see, say-me!

I like it. I'm not really a Bond-ologist, seeing as most of the Bond films were released before I was born, but I do love soundtracks and music. The only thing I can really say is the end is extremely abrupt. I, personally, would like a song with some more resonance on the last note. That might be hard to do with an energetic ending. You could put a few seconds of silence.

Other than that, it's a solid piece. I enjoyed listening to it!

In fact, I have a v2 but I don't still know if I add others tracks...

I give you the v2.
Changes:
*I've deleted the "second Boat Chase theme" and assured a good transition between "Bond arrives in Rio" and "Flight into space".

*Some transactions have been changed (notably between Hamburg break in and Scaramanga's house)
