So what (if any) games are you guys hoping to get for Christmas this year?

I'm hoping to get a PS3 as a joint thing for Christmas and my birthday which is in February. Probably get a couple of games too. Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be one of them, as I've become addicted to it over the past few weeks of playing it on my friend's Xbox 360.

PS3s are being quoted as around �300 right now, so I doubt I'll be getting anything else.

What about the rest of you?

Probably Persona 4. I'm buying that myself though, so I don't know if it counts.

Well, I know I'm getting a PS3, with the games Mirror's Edge, Ratchet & Clank: Tools Of Destruction, Prince of Persia, LittleBigPlanet, Tomb Raider: Underworld and Devil May Cry 4... Although technically some of those games are for my dad and brother, I'll be playing them anyway. I may also get Prince of Persia: The Fallen King for DS, if I'm lucky.

Oh, we don't think like that in my family. My dad is 53 years old and he still plays games like Call of Duty 4 and Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. He's been asking for the official PS3 GT steering wheel controller for the last 2 years now. He wants to create his own racing cockpit! ^^

But yeah, we usually buy him tools he can use to finish renovating his home... Boring stuff, but he wants them as well.

I'm 27, and I'll still get at least one game for Christmas. Probably something like Mirror's Edge of Prince of Persia... Since I already bought Fallout 3 and Fable 2.

MY pops is 61 and he' s a huge fan of the WWII shooters... ive got him all the Medal Of Honnor's. I wish i had the scratch to get him the PS3

My family is into giving me gifts that have practicality, like gift cards for gas or grocery stores.

But given some dramatic change of events, an xbox 360 would be nice. I'd take some of the jRPGs out for it, Fallout 3, maybe some others. I think I'd prefer Fallout 3 on the PC, though. No desire for a PS3 at this point.

I'd probably take a Wii too :o With all the necessary accessories and a few games.

I'm happy with my DS, but since this is a wishlist, I'd take one of those sexy ruby colored ones. Or at least a nice casing/cover for it.

And although I don't play often enough to warrant either, the new Lord of the Rings: Mines of Moria expansion + a lifetime subscription to the game in general so I don't have to worry about paying for it or feeling bad if I am paying for it monthly and not playing ;x

I gave myself a nice early gift by softmodding my Wii earlier this week. I'm now sailing the high seas on more than just PC, but I don't feel too bad about it. My parents will probably give me money which will go promptly into my savings account to save for a bassoon (yay playing an instrument that costs ~$12k+...)

I'm playing catchup on games I missed from years ago. I'm getting the first Phoenix Wright game for my DS and a NES game, The Guardian Legend.

I want a Wii and Brawl.

Really want: Saints Row 2, Final Fantasy XI, LittleBigPlanet.

As far as Video Game wishlists go, i wish i could find the Nintendo DS Browser. I can not find a single one.

I changed my mind about a Wii, I told my parents I wouldn't mind either little big planet or Resistance 2, my mum said she got one of them today so I'll have to wait and see.

I went into town to have a look at PS3s yesterday. �299.99 plus games is the general going rate for the 80GB versions. Personally, I don't think there are that many exciting games out there at the moment for the PS3. I have Oblivion and F1 Championship Edition, considering getting PES 2009 but I already have PES 2008 on PS2 (and I've spent hours editing transfers and player stats) so maybe not.

For Christmas? Nothing gaming wise. However, some time after Christmas I'll be buying a better computer in preparation for Dragon Age and Diablo III.

Hello, new here! Just posting my wish list which is small. Really only want to games right now. Eternal Sonata for PS3 and Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories for PS2. Which I just picked up at Target for $10. Love how they were giving out some gift cards for certain things you bought in store. I rarely play video games unless something comes along and smacks me and makes me just have to have it. :)

That KH one is pretty cool. I was going to wait for Christmas for it but then I saw a sticker on the front that said "Collectible Artwork Inside!" with "Limited Time Only" in small letters underneath. I'm glad I got it when I did because now I don't see that sticker anywhere.

I'm a sucker for goodies that come with games...
