Just curious at what everyones taste in music is.

Mine include: Aerosmith, Jimmy Eat World/Paramore, Kanye West/Lupe Fiasco/N.E.R.D., and Warped Tour which has to many bands to mention. I know the Kanye West concert seems out of place, lol, my friend got free tickets.

My favorite would have to be Angels & Airwaves which I saw at Warped Tour. First of all I'm a huge Blink-182 fan so seeing Tom DeLonge in concert was amazing, and I was standing next to my girlfriend then the intense crowd separated us and I got pushed to the absolute front. It was awesome. Also, random fun fact, I went crowd surfing during All Time Low at Warped Tour and it was crazy fun.

Not many.

Eve6 when I was around 12-13 D: I think Lit opened for them.

Ben Folds twice, at Summerfest in Milwaukee at one of the open/free stages

Rufus Wainwright at Summerfest, also on one of the open/free stages

Stevie Nicks at Summerfest, actual concert seats.

I think that's it, sadly, unless I'm really blanking on something.

I almost want to make a top 10 albums of 2008 thread, but there really weren't many records this year (in comparison with 2007) that stand out,
BUT, I have been to lots of concerts this year, though! Notable ones:

- Iron & Wine in Paris

- British Sea Power in Brussels (this was very good, but still not as good as the Brakes gig I went to in 2007)

- The Dillinger Escape Plan (and a couple of grindcore bands, very superb)

- Rockfest festival (small one, which was mainly to check out if Misery Signals are good live or not, and it was allright)

- No Age and I Love Sarah (neat noisy rock <3)

- Melt-Banana (more noise!)

- Adolescents (very lucky to see them live, that was a really nice start of the summer)

The summer was filled with traveling to many festivals, even more than last year's holidays, it couldn't have been better.

- Don Caballero, and later that eve a classic series of harsh breakcore sets.

- Later in october went to see M83 here in Antwerp, and it wasn't bad at all!

- But the Lightning Bolt gig last month is the best concert I've ever been to, so far. <3

- And a short while ago I saw Jolie Holland and Sam Amidon, such sweet music, also very lucky for being able to actually go to it!

Couple of upcoming concerts: Tomorrow going to see Deerhoof, should be very awesome, and later this month Abe Vigoda (always with the noise rock), and Phoebe Killdeer. :D Ta-dah~

I've never been to any concert.

Most of my favourite artists are dead*, but my main reason is that I just don't like to be around a lot of people, and I don't like to be out late at night.

*This reminded me that Mitch Mitchell died a few weeks ago.

I've only been to three that I actually wanted to go myself (usually my mother forced me to go to some and my sisters)

Marilyn Manson
The Birthday Massacre
Mindless Self Indulgence

I went to an ACDC Back in Black tribute (free tickets). It was pretty kickass but I don't really consider that a concert because it was a tribute.

I recently went to go see Gogol Bordello at ROCK CITY in Nottingham UK and it was mindblowing, one of the best performances I've ever seen.

I also went Glastonbury this year and a Hightlight of that was Ben Folds :)
