Is it just me, or does FFVII's graphics suck. I mean, the characters hands are blocks or something! Whats up with that!

The graphics don't suc, the real power of the graphics r in the battle engine. When u enter a fight the characters look waaaaaaaay better. But it didn't bother me, I enjoyed the scene's and I loved the music.

What do you expect from a game that's like 5 years old? Yeesh man, FF7 was ahead of the game in a lot of ways when it was released. Not everything was always perfect ya know. :-p

I thought that the graphics were good. I personally loved the way the characters looked too. I like that whole chibi look better than the realistic thing anyway. It's cute ^_^ and it looks better when u get the characters to put on ur b-day cake.

well, at least the story is deep... stop your complaining! i'm sure we don't like the graphics, but lifes' touph! it ain't always gonna revolve around you, kid! so, get use to it. if everyone complained about every little thing, then there would be a lotta lil complainers like you!

thats a pretty silly thing to say. FF7 is pretty old, and for its time, the graphics were pretty good. and even now, they do there job...its still a great game today.

What Ethereal said, the games 6-7 years old, whenthe game came out the graphics were the best on the system. i like the graphics more than any other ff (apart from 10) because i just do, lol, i dont know why... i just prefer the cartoony look :D

I thought the graphics were good I don't like games with all of these great graphics and stuff because that takes away some of the value of the game and as for the graphics in ff7 (it's old that's how graphics looked back then) anyways I agree the graphics lye withen the battle engine, and anybody who doesn't like FF7 because of it's animated polygonal graphics aren't ff fans at all, all that counts in a good rpg is a good story line , characters, etc.

Yeah i suppose all that really matters is that the story and characters are good. The graphics were good for its time as well so when ur playin an older game, ur gonna see some old graphics.

Do u guys remember when The Legend of Zelda's graphics were considered good? Maybe some of u werent born yet? Ahh...some of my first memories.:) i still hate those door repair people! i can't believe they still have that crap! **aherm**

How can they not be considered good? Look, not having the latest excuse for reality doesn't have to be considered a bad point. For example, do games such as Link to the Past and Chrono Trigger from SNES have bad graphics? The only thing that graphics do is enhance a storyline. As long as they fit and actually look cool, they aren't bad! They may not be new, but they aren't terrible either. Cry all you want, but if you treat older graphics as a downside to playing an otherwise good game, you're only hurting yourself with your own ignorance.

like everyone else said its the game that matters .not the graphics. well in this game.

its like Bomberman64 compared to bomberman Generation.

B64 being=FF7 BG being FF10 its still a classic.
