everyone i've been talking to seems to have a mixed feeling on the series of Harry Potter movies. some think the series has always been boring, some thought it had a good start, but is slowly declining, and others are still fans.

personally, i'm looking forward to it, because it definately has the potential, but i am a little worried that it will turn out bad. what are your thoughts?

Meh, some of them I didn't really like, but I don't think could have been better.

Though, Deathly Hallows being in two parts does excite me, less excuse to not include stuff. And perhaps MAYBE they can make up for what was not included in the other movies.

i jsut realized that by including everything in deathly hallows, they may be referencing something that was excluded in the other movies, so how will that work out?

They get better every year but they are nothing compared to the books. They are mediocre films at best.

/agree. The books are awesome and are a lot better compared to the films, however I really enjoy watching the films and the build up towards them.

The films don't do the books justice but I do think the films are pretty good, they do miss out on certain things which I expected to be in them and some parts are just ridiculous (like skipping the Quidditch final).

Nowhere near as good as the books, but that seems to be the case for most movies... Goblet of Fire was the only one I didn't really like out of the films -the others were OK, despite missing out some moderately important stuff.

I like the first 3 movies, but after those it's just meh. I can't stand Daniel Radcliffe for a second. I don't know why, but seeing his face just makes me wanna punch something.

I would hate to be known for being Harry Potter and his crew. The movies are decent for 1 viewing. I've never felt the need to watch any of the Harry Potter films twice.

That said, I wouldn't be sad to see the films stop where they are now but as long as they keep popping them out, I'll give them at least 1 look. I mean, they may not be the greatest movies but they're better than a lot of the shit that's coming out of Hollywood lately.
