I would like the soundtrack for this game. Does anybody have it?

Has this game even been released on another platform yet? I know Actress Again has been in the arcades since around mid-2008, but that's all I've heard about the game.

It was released on PS2, but its not released in the US. Only Japan.

Can you find a site that confirms the PS2 release? I haven't found any site that has confirmed a release date for anything other than the arcade version.

Yes it was, but in arcades for now. From what I've read (and you know how reliable forums can be, sorry FFS), expect the PS2 release in '09 and a PC release in '10. But if we're lucky, when it does come to PS2 maybe there will be an OST release to coincide with the game like Act Cadenza had (though it was for PC, not PS2).

And yet, arcade rips to Act Cadenza were available on Mugen sites before the PS2 release. I wonder how that is even done, knowing the new generation of arcade games have yet to be emulated (as far as I know, the last new emulator was the CPS3)?

Count me in to be waiting for this too. I just can't listen to the tracks with the voices of the button mashers screaming behind.

I'll be requiring a bit of time to get used to the new character voices too. I wonder why they didn't hire the previous seiyuus for this game, it downright changes each of every one of their personalities.

The group who remixed MBAC's and MBAA music have released track previews at their website, lisa-rec.net. Hopefully there will be an OST coming along?

Well, some good news. There are a few songs now posted on Youtube (apparently via Nicosound). Not much (about 8), but something to wet your whistle to until something gets done on the consoles (don't even know when the release dates are yet).

I agree, the new remix is really something ;) Personally I prefer FTT with more buildup so I'm really happy they're changing it. :D

Ever since I got the english patch for Act Cadenza, I deemed the wait it took to get to PC worthwhile, so I can wait a little more.

hidden characters........maybe not the PS2 ver. but maybe the PC port follow-up..........I finally got a dam comp that can play Melty Blood.....it almost brought me to tears when i first got it XD

An excellent substitute. This will certainly tide me over until we find the actual OST. With my luck, I'll edit and modify all these files, and then the OST will finally come out and I'll have to do it all over again. It's like lighting a cig when waiting for a bus. lol

I second that. It's bullshit that they don't play twice. You can't get much enjoyment out of 1 minute and 20 seconds.

Well, as with all my music, I'll be fixing that next week when I finally get home. Triple loops, but even standard double loops will need 3 CDs.

Yeah I gotta agree with this. If it looped twice or 3 times, it would be even better.

Heh, I did my own edit. I looped (almost) everything so that it plays thrice (except the vocals, the 10 second tracks, and a few story tracks) and changed the fading point. Ouch. The whole soundtrack comes in at over 4hrs now.

I guess I'm feeling generous. Anyone interested? Most tracks average between 3-5 minutes with the longest being Fairy Tale Transparently at 6:38.

Yeah, I feel that three loops is a personal taste, not for everyone. It's most likely the reason all OSTs are 2 loops. Only official OST I can think of that had 3 loops was Street Fighter Zero 3. Then again, 3 loops would be good for Mugen, right?

I did notice that the file name for track 1 was Boold Drain (which I actually did not rename from the original source), but the ID3 tag was right, Blood Drain. Also Seijaku no Forutishimo where Forutishimo is the engrish (yup, engrish) japanese spelling of Fortissimo. What else is there? I ain't seeing it.

I'm so sorry, but I already deleted the original RAR copy off my PC. I should have quoted those filenames in my previous post before renaming them.

From what I can remember, there were only two tracks which had filename problems (I didn't check the ID3 tags to see whether it was correct, again I apologize). One was Blood Drain, and the other was a song that was also in MBAC, if I'm not mistaken it was Beat from Melty Blood or Truth from Melty Blood.

This may not get done until October, but would this be of interest to anyone, or is there no need since we already have a 1.5 and a triple version.

The King of Fighters: Maximum Impact Regulation A had triple loops, and so did Tobi Tsukihime. But as you said, these tracks would be win for MUGEN stages. I just need to find a stage to use them on that doesn't already have awesome music...
