I've played and finished FF8 before, and I'm playing again.

I'm really ashamed to ask, but I'm kinda locked in a room. It's on CD2, right after Balamb Garden flight to avoid the missiles. The party is supposed to look what is happen. They take a door by the 2th floor and sees the outside (where goes a CG). The party is supposed to return to see Cid... but I simply can't find the way back. I presse everything, walked everywhere, and there's no way back.

Where's the exit of this small place? Or it's some bug?

I think I remember there being a door that's a little bit tough to find, but it sounds like this might actually be a bug. I'd really have to see what happens on your screen to know exactly what you mean.

Are you playing on an emulator?

If so, screenshot pls <3

I once had a similar bug.
I borrowed a friends copy, got past the glitched part, and put my copy back in. It worked perfectly aside from that one point.
Try that?

Well my experience with FF8 is that there is usually 1 bug per playthrough.
Just save often lol

Ahuh, I never got a bug ever, are we talking about emulator or ps1?
I think the only thing that is wrong with mines is that my ps2 is too damn old to read any ps1 games and when I can get it to work, it gets stuck at the (FMV?) on the 3rd disk where after you find out that the whole ice area of Esthar is only an illusion, and you go through the little whole in the sky (wall)and after the first elevator where you go into the second one, nothing happens, and I know for a fact that it works, just probably after 132034321354 tries. I got it to work ONCE and that was probably over a year ago. I would try now but there is no hope that it will even be read at all.
But other than that, I never encountered anything weird or unusual.

if im thinking of the right place i think there is small almost hidden door to the left of the room, i may have the wrong place tho

I had this problem when my copy of final fantasy 8 was a copy it seems to be a bug that exists as soon as I had a legit copy I had no trouble with the door, But it is up the stairs on the left hand side. But if you are having the same problems I did then you are not going to be able to get past that point unless you own a legit copy of the game.
