WHICH IS MINE?

I have no idea how to define my "style" and I feel that is holding me back on advancing any further with a hopeful career with this stuff...that and not achieving good sonics lololol

Anyway, here are some samples:

A mix of a little bit of neat ambient and interesting IDM. ^_~

I have the same problem because I pretty much like the same type of music that you do. You can give "trip-hop" a try (I know, artists HATE this word, but this has been the definition that helped me find the music that I like most accurately over the years). Otherwise, it can be electronica, ambient, or even brit-pop. Good luck.

Thanks guys. I had a guy once tell me my stuff fit well under IDM but I just don't think so since it's not very complex. When I think IDM I think super crazy sequencing and insane drum patterns and I feel my shit is way too simple for that.

My songs are usually part based, like a rock song, I kinda have the equivalent of verses/choruses/bridges going on.

Yeah it's not too complex, but it still does remind me of a few IDM artists (not very harsh stuff like Aphex Twin's or so, kinda more like Four Tet, just very neat electronica!).

A very good place to learn about electronic musix is Ishkur's Guide (http://techno.org/electronic-music-guide/). ^_^

Oh I think I've been there before! I tried finding something like mine but gave up eventually haha. Time for another try!

Edit - under Hardcore - New Beat, I think I've done a few bits here and there that sound similar to that kinda. Not exclusively, but perhaps that'll help some?

Well, that guide is not ultimate. It's just so have an approximate idea on what's what. :3

Really feeling your stuff.

I'd say most of the drums evoke an industrial feeling, but your melodies are quite rich as well. Really like the "Undying Despair."

Are you ever interested in collaborating with hip hop artists or MC's?

I'm not sure about collaborating, only because whenever I've tried working with people before it never works out, things just seem to fall apart some way or another :(

No problem.

I know what you're saying about things not seeming to work out when collaboration is concerned, but I think it's somtimes best to collaborate with others to expand your music to more crowds and to merely try something new. I rap, I produce, I compose, I scratch, and I was wondering if you would be interested in collaborating with me on one song. I'm in the group, Diagram Of Truth (http://www.myspace.com/diagramoftruth). If you're interested, we could continue conversation over PM.
